It's a great place to launch your adventures. The accommodations are great. This part of the resort is separated from the main area, that has the pool and playground, by a river and golf course. It's imperative that you have a car if you visit here.

We visited the sunchaser resort for the first time this year. The units were clean and roomy. They were supplied with all the cutlery and equipment we needed. The view was great. The only negative is that we were a short drive away from the pool /front office area.

Suites are big and modern. However, it isn't like regular resorts - it's disjointed. Villas are mixed in with normal neighborhoods. Have to drive to connect with facilities. Hard to find. Shut all facilities down for covid instead of limiting numbers like the rest of the province is doing, yet they still charge the full fees. I will not return.

Love Fairmont Springs. The villas are very nice, as long as you like firm beds. After two days I am sore, I have to use an air mattress. My husband does just fine on the beds. The employees are super nice, they have free DVD rentals and a nice clubhouse to use. The town is fairly small so be prepared to spend a lot on food.

This is the second year we have visited this resort. Last year we got a very nice unit and were disappointed when we couldn't get the same unit. They gave us the one next door and it turned out to be even better! All the rooms/areas are well layed out, (kitchen, bedroom, bath and living room). I think that the area total is about 800 sq. ft. or at least feels that spacious The bathroom has a whirlpool tub and the water pressure in our unit was great, if not a bit on the high side; while showering you get pressure washed - no extra charge :) We prefer the higher water pressure compared to the anemic water pressure at most resorts. Kitchen had massive amounts of cupboards, full size stove and oven, full, (regular), sized fridge and dishwasher. Very good, powerful, microwave oven, (actually all appliances are very good). This unit had a great balcony, (about 8' by 10'), with a nice propane BBQ. The only really downside is the living room sofa/bed was near it's end of life. Functional and NOT too uncomfortable to sit on, but pretty dated and ratty looking. (Same with the unit we had last year.) The living room chair is likely newer and it doesn't match the sofa but we are not staying here for the decor. The kitchen table and chairs are very nice. Six large chairs around the table. The king size bed was also comfortable. Nice ceiling fan/light combo with good controls on the wall in both the bedroom and living room. The fans are solid, no wobble, and quiet while moving air well even on the lower settings. Only one built in wall A/C unit. This one worked better and looked newer than the unit we stayed in last year. Opening the bedroom window at night works well - this is in the Canadian Rockies, so it does get cool at night. This area seems to be a golfer's paradise. We don't golf but you can't help but notice golf courses everywhere on the drive here. Our unit backs unto a golf course and we can watch the wildlife chasing and hitting those little white round things with skinny clubs. :) There are also deer on the golf course. (Deer and her speckled fawn - quite cute.) A river or large stream runs through the golf course where the deer came for a drink and a splash through the water just 100 yards away. Nice view of the golf course, river and mountains from our balcony and living room. There are hikes and scenic spots in the area as well. It's a hit or miss as to weather, like any vacation but the variability requires a bit more preparation for layers. This year some attractions are closed due to flooding, yet there are other areas that are not affected. While not of the same caliber as Jasper or Banff, we are getting to see new sights that are breath taking none-the-less.

I had a most excellent stay here! Highlights include: beautiful views of the golf greens and mountains, a great line of communication with staff if you need something for your villa or an appliance fixed, and a very clean and comfortable room! If anything, I'd suggest offering a mini packet of laundry detergent for guests who stay for a week or more and maybe a stronger wifi signal, but I'm nitpicking because it's been so much better than many other hotels I've been at. I would definitely recommend!

We had booked an A side way back in February and when we arrived in August they put us in a B , which is meant more for children. My husband talked to the desk and they basically said Too bad. He phoned and spoke with Manager but were told the same thing. We were told there was nothing that could be done. We had traded both our A and B sides to get an A side and instead we got a B with no reimbursement or anything. We would recommend anyone to be ever so careful when you are trading and booking. This is not the first time this has happened to us and we shall be selling ours as soon as possible.

Very spacious accommodations. Well appointed. And with all the amenities now open, there is lots to do.
