★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sun Wah is my go to for quick and stress free Asian foods shopping. I always make sure to stop by the BBQ shop to grab some duck. The butcher is very accommodating and friendly!
As far as the groceries go, I believe they’ll have everything besides very special regional items. I found Sichuan green and red peppercorns in a size that I liked, for about ~$13/kg in small convenient containers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just came here, live super close and wanted snacks. Forgot my bank card so was just going to run home quickly. However the security followed me across the parking lot screaming at me, assuming I stole.
You know what happens when you assume something, never coming back, I'll go to the other oriental market close by. Zero stars

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The largest oriental supermarket in Winnipeg. Carries a variety of grocery items... Fruits, vegetables, dry produce, household items, pots and pans, bowls and spoons, frozen seafood, etc. You name it, they pretty much have it. Prices are very reasonable, staff and cashiers are friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the only real store chinese food store in Winnipeg. Best products but many time expired. Must carefully check every item. I highly recommend but also with reservation. Hence the tree stars. Authentic Asian restaurants do all their shopping here. However selling food that isn’t dated and other items that are a year past due date. Bought a Thai curry paste that was a year since it’s best before. Yuck. I do return. I really enjoy the fresh stuffed buns. Usually Sunday is fresh and hot deliveries.
