β β β β β The pricing is on the higher end for mediocre product. In my experience, they're consistently spotty with their product availability.
Cashiers frequently make errors on pricing and I have had to make multiple purchases instead of a single transaction due to these errors, this happens on a semi-regular basis.
I avoid this spot unless the purchase is absolutely necessary, and even then I would rather go to food fare or other C Stores in the surrounding neighbourhood.
Not a great place to shop.

β β β β β Family Foods is a Canadian Supermarket chain with several full scale locations in the Greater Winnipeg Metro Area. FamilyFoods is a 'household' name, been around many years.
The 'downtown' location has the same prices as the other locations (*compared at St Vital, Dakota Plaza), but a smaller sales floor. THEY DELIVER, same day.
Great produce, dairy, frozen, meats: YES, YOU CAN DO YOUR REGULAR GROCERY SHOPPING HERE, many people do it.

β β β β β I have been going to this Grocery Store for almost 20 years. It is my preferred store to get my groceries. Friendly and helpful staff who always greet me as soon as I walk in and ask how I'm. A wide assortment of of goods, reasonable prices and a Deli that caters and also provides individual meals hot and ready to go for lunch and dinner. The Meat Department has wonderful meats and a good selection. The Butcher will help you if you cannot find a cut of meat you are looking for with a smile. Fresh turkeys at Christmas, tasty and tender. They also provide a delivery service which I have used many times. I highly recommend this store.

β β β β β Purchased a set of vegs, go home and realized it is actually rotten.. I informed the people there and ask if it happened again and if I have the proven pictures and receipt, may I get refund next time. They answered I took my chance so itβs no refundable but they will tell the stuff to be more careful. So watch out for things you buy next time, you are on your own risk. However it is still a nice supermarket and pretty handy for some quick shopping. Why one star βοΈ? For the farewell to the money I have waste and throwed into garageβ¦

β β β β β Peruse through aisles reminiscent of a bodega... But the nice kind. One where you might find an exotic spice blend or new brand of pocky. Gander at the corridors of slightly dusty cans and become entranced by clearance prices on items you never knew you needed. Coconut milk from the 90's? Hell yes I need it. BBQ Crispers two months passed their expiry date? HOOK DAT $HIT UP.

β β β β β Worst customer service Iβve experienced today. The store has always been very accommodating and the staff has always been friendly except today with the staff who told me her name was Caroline (Although, Iβm not sure if she gave me her real name) but she is in charge of the cooked foods March 3, 2022 at 6:00 pm.
I requested her to just cut the roasted chicken like I normally do with everyone but she just said βshe didnβt want to do itβ. I asked her why and she just said, βshe doesnβt do thatβ.
I donβt know if sheβs racist because Iβm Asian or sheβs just too privilege. I am a loyal and regular customer, I hope you would hire people who would really work and not exercise their self entitlement during working hours.
