Definitely the best sports store in Vernon! Grew up going here and continue to go here for my gear. The service and staff are top notch as well! Only the kind that you'd find in a small, locally owned shop.

For the past 14 years my family and I have been dealing with Mike and his staff for personal shopping and for lacrosse. When our son joined lacrosse and we became a part of North Okanagan Minor Lacrosse executive , Sun Valley became a major sponsor in supporting our mini tyke and tyke program and helped our association with jerseys and equipment. Mike brought in lacrosse equipment that our players needed and donated all the Jerseys for tyke and mini tyke teams. He did this without any fanfare or advertising. Throughout the years Mike and his staff worked with minor lacrosse to bring in items that would support our growing lacrosse community. For his devotion Mike was awarded the 2007 British Columbia Lacrosse Assosiation "Sponsor of the Year" a testimonial for outstanding public service made by an individual through lacrosse sponsorship. Mike has been the Vernon Tigers supplier since the teams inception in 2000. Mike is now our sponsor for the Vernon Tigers Jr.B lacrosse team. As GM of the Tigers for the past 2 years we still rely on Mike and his staff with all our equipment /jerseys and clothing needs. I trust Mike. I know I can count on his expertise, honesty and experience. HIs staff is amazing. Always helpful and friendly whenever we come in. I have also dealt with Mike thru my work. This year Sun Valley took part in the Bannister Honda, Honda & Heels Ladies night at our dealership. Mike sent one of his staff members, Travis to show and talk about Paddle boards to approx 75 ladies. Travis was awesome. Mike donated a SUP life jacket for a door prize. A huge thank you to Mike and Staff from my family, the Vernon Tigers organization and Banniser Honda. You all are wonderful.

The "ski expert" was pushing skis on to my son that were beyond his size and ability and he knew it. I knew it and wasn't buying it. He was trying to sell skis that were way too long and saying they would be fine with the excuse of a "growth spurt" as his motive. My son needs 115, and he went over the top trying to sell us 129's. They only had that size in stock and he tried to sell us those.... knowing they weren't the right ski.

Mike and the team at Source for Sports have been great supporters of the Vernon Kokanee Swim Club, Vernon Ski Club and many other local sports groups that I have been involved with. They are the official local supplier for the swim club’s suits and equipment and have been very helpful with brining in good quality team track suits and t-shirts at a reasonable price. I have 3 sporty boys and always go to Source for Sports first for their sports uniform and equipment needs. They have a good selection of products, knowledgeable and friendly staff and reasonable prices.

Mike Melbourne and his staff at Sun Valley Source for Sports in Vernon are always so helpful and friendly. Mike has helped me make many clothing orders for my son's hockey teams for years and has always done amazing job and goes above and beyond for our Lumby Minor Hockey Association.

Went in to buy skates today. I had a great experience with a fellow named Brandon. He worked with me to find a proper fitting skate that worked well for my foot shape. He provided good knowledgeable information along the way. Would highly recommend this store.

Top notch. I brought my old graf skates in for new steel and found the whole process very pleasant. They worked with me to adjust the blade as needed over several visits. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful. 110% anyone asks me where to go - its Sun Valley Soure for Sports!

Met the owner, super friendly and priced reasonably. Everything I needed for soccer was available and fully stocked up. He knew exactly what I needed and the sizes for my kido, he took the time to chat with kido and make the experience fun for too. Love the service and vibe of the shop, would rather go here than big box store across the street ?
