★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a great little RV park! Its main residents have been there for years, so it's like a little neighbourhood were everyone's friendly and relaxed. Even the new owners are great and friendly, hosting events like fires and BBQs.
It has power water, small storage lot, showers and washrooms. It's great for tents to large trailers, but really big ones are just a bit tighter to get in there, so I personally wouldnt bring the bigger ones here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful location and incredibly friendly, helpful host. Plenty of space for big rigs. Our 40’ fit easily enough. Nice rates. Has WiFi, water, dump station. After you unhook the Lussiar hot springs (non commercialized) are down the road!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Owner seemed nice, however location is nothing like the pictures. The 2 spots available are super small and we could not even get our slides out. There are no fire pits and the campground itself is right behind a gas station. We left pretty quickly as we were quite upset. They still nailed us for both nights. I would never recommend this campground. If I could give it less than 1 star , I would.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was denied a booking here due to my medical status…. but luckily upon our arrival into Windermere we discovered what a blessing it was as Sun Valley RV is located close to the highway on the opposite side of the lake and not very picturesque. We ended up booking down the road at another campground that is located on the water, has 3 night by night spots that happen to be beautiful lots with big mature trees, plenty of room to park our 40’ trailer & have our 22’ truck beside it, lake in sight, dog parks, garbage & recycling, playground, groups of deer meandering through and a marina to get picked up by friends on their boat if needed.
EDITED to clarify. I am CANADIAN and none of this is funny. As mentioned above I saw your facilities and they pale in comparison to the much superior campground down the road… therefore your discrimination was actually a blessing and nothing to be spiteful about. Take care.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We were here for 10 days. Owners are available and friendly. RV Park and sites were completely clean and maintained. Free showers were spotless as was the bathroom. We liked the location in Windermere. Very short drive to the lake. The overnight spots have water and electric. Gas station, restaurant and small store are right beside the RV park.we booked again for next summer!
