About Summers Drilling Ltd
"In July 2011, we lost our 30-year-old well but not before it delivered a good load of sand to us. Kap's Drilling Ltd. responded and delivered the final verdict for our well. On our behalf, David Kapalka contacted Dave at Summers drilling, located in Stony Plain, Alberta. Summers Drilling promptly responded to our acreage with two 1200-gallon water containers for our use. We never went without water for more than a few hours and the cost to lend us these two containers c/w pump was absorbed by Summers Drilling.
These two containers remained on our property for our use, until the new well was drilled, capped and running. We were allowed to continue using the containers until all lines had been cleared of any remaining sand. Before I met with Dave of Summers Drilling, he was sympathetic, professional, and easy to deal with. Dave explained the entire operation and procedure to me. All questions were answered to my satisfaction.
With the wet summer, drilling was delayed until the ground was firm enough to support the drilling rig. The actual drilling, trenching and re-connection took three days. The drilling rig personnel were friendly, professional and informative. At no time did they portray annoyance with me asking questions or simply hanging around watching. The well was completed quickly with no issues. I explained to Dave what my habits have been in the past regarding the tending to of some horses. A suggestion was made to install a hydrant and steps were taken to provide the necessary wiring for an outdoor plug next to the trough. These suggestions were much appreciated and after using the hydrant, I have found it very convenient. It will save me a lot of time and effort. Summers Drilling also supplied the power line for the outlet at no extra cost. The new well works great.

Had one small issue on the electrical connection for the watering bowl that we had them tie-in to the new pump. I called on a Saturday and they had a service crew out in 10 minutes to help diagnose and fix.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Summers is absolutely fantastic! They are so helpful and friendly! When we purchased our home, the previous owner had to have a new well installed a couple months before our possession. Previous owner tried to do things minimally and against Summers recommendations. Needless to say, the aftermath became our problem. Summers shocked our well, and installed 2 filtration systems for iron and sediment. The in home cistern was a custom order due to odd sizing of our home. Unexpected costs after possession to say the least. But they made our experience so wonderful and seamless. They are so knowledgeable and kind. I would recommend this company to anyone and everyone needing any kind of work or advise on their wells or filtration. We will be life long customers! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There was no water on the farm after lunch. Five hours later Bjorn and Brandon had diagnosed several issues that had accumulated over the years that resulted in the well failure. A new pump was install along with pressure tank and the related pressure valve and fittings. Everything that was needed was available in the big service truck. The water was running clear 2 hours after disturbing the well bore. Everything was cleaned up and hauled away. The only thing left was footprints in the snow. Thank you Bjorn and Brendon for keeping me informed as progression was made to a high quality professional completion at a very fair price. Job well done and I highly recommend Summers Drilling to anyone that has acreage or farm water wells that require service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had Summers Drilling come out and do our well shock on a well we knew nothing about and had not done any service to. Well let's just say we will never call anyone else. Absolutely outstanding service. Arrived on time, both gentlemen were extremely polite and courteous. The whole family was immediately comfortable around them! Explained our entire system to us, went above and beyond to ensure the well is operating good, completed the shock very quickly and answered our billion questions. Even gave us some options for getting the water to drinking quality and pointers on how to maintain the well. Can't wait to have them come out to install the treatment system (rural living problems haha). Honestly can't say enough good things and will recommend to anyone & everyone looking for well services!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was totally impressed with Bjorn and Brandon, they were the crew that hooked up the pipes to the well and installed the pump for the well after the drillers dug the new well. They were a great couple of guys and very friendly and professional. They explained what everything did and what to do if we ever had any issues with they pump. Bjorn even called the next day to see how everything was working. My husband and I really enjoyed dealing with them as they made an awesome team.I would recommend Summer’s Drilling as once everything was up and running we are very happy with the end results.
