First we must disabuse ourselves of the notion that this is an RV park! It is a mobile home park. 90% of the spots are permanent installations although they are RVs. Most have not moved in years. Many probably could not move based on all the add-ons, decks, and foundation plantings that have been installed or rather jammed into the tiny spaces between the units. The residents are mostly very friendly but all of them seem to smoke cigarettes 24/7 all over the park. Also there's something wrong with the sewage system and there is a constant reek of sewage. Secondly the spots are EXTREMELY small and were designed for the size of RV built in the 60s when the park was laid out. Now they (for the most part) are completely covered (sometimes extending out into the road) with giant 5th wheels....many with five slides. The spots are gravel which is quite loose making leveling almost impossible. The units are so close together that sitting outside is quite unpleasant (see the comments on cigarette smoke and sewage above) as the heat reflected off the units is unpleasant. The only view is straight up. The beach is nice. Because the spots are so small there's no room to park a car within the boundaries. So almost everyone leaves their vehicle on the street in front all but totally clogging the narrow roadway. This makes it all but impossible to drive through the park and impedes the passage of larger vehicles including the fire department--who were summoned recently to attempt to extinguish a fire which completely destroyed one unit and did significant damage to adjacent units. As for the spot that we were in the neighbor on one side (whom we never saw without a cigarette burning in his mouth) parked his huge fifth wheel as close to the lot line as possible which meant that he was constantly trespassing through our space to access his storage. Also most of the other residents had no problem strolling through. Thirdly: The highway noise is non-stop---if you're a light sleeper and you're still thinking of staying here you will want to bring sleeping medication! There are so many good RV parks in the area, except for the beach location I have no idea why anyone would stay here!

Beautiful spot but other than that, be aware of special treatment for some, not for others. Flooding in 2017 caused 2 rows of Rvs to go without power, some for over 40 days, as the electrical is underground. Poorly run at that time. Interested parties should be aware of the cons - not just the pros.

From the time that I moved my RV into this park I was harassed by both management and others. It seems like if you were friends with the management you could do as you pleased. I am a disabled female with a service dog and I felt intimidated and picked on by certain people that live there and then they were backed up by management as they were friends. If you are not older and fit into their little groups you will not have a good time living there full-time. I have never had a problem getting along with people except for when I live there. I was never so happy as when I was able to move from there. Along with me I know others that were also bullied and had to leave that Park as well. So it may be a pretty place to stay for a short holiday but not maybe so much full-time living unless you fit in to their pack.

The campground is really nice and beautiful. The lake is easily accessible with a nice and shady beach. The bathrooms were clean and spacious. However, no mater how nice all the amenities are the highway noise is non-stop. My husband and I stayed there for one night and we simply could not sleep. When big trucks would go by on the highway it felt like the trailer was shaking. We usually do not post reviews but we felt we owed to others to post this review. If you must stay there, get a spot as far away from the highway as humanly possible.

Year around rv Park. I'm in the waiting list after 30 people that is. Must be good if there is a list that long. I visited a friend there it's fenced quiet and beautiful.

This was a nice place to stay with the lake right across the street. It was nice and green with trees and bushes, but the sites are very small and there is little to no privacy. Their internet was nice and strong and I guess they have TV as well, but we did not use that at all. Fires of any kind are not allowed, which kind of sucked. But the staff were very friendly along with the other campers. We did have a great time biking into town and just site seeing. It is a great place to visit for sure!
