Paradise Valley

The start to my long weekend became a headache as I arrived in the office at this park. FYI - the arrival time is set in stone & WILL NOT be accommodating if you arrive early,. They will NOT let you in the park, they inform you to go back to your vehicle & return at check in time, seriously not even 5 minutes early. The staff at this park could benefit from some customer service training, their overall demeanor is right down rude. You would think that with our resent Covid issues, they would prefer not to have multiple people waiting around the office to check in. Once you are permitted to enter the park, you then make way to your to your site, but then since every trailer owner that was waiting to check into the office is now trying to back into their site, causes a backlog of trailers idling on the roads, the total chaos is now making the headache worse. Then to find the site completely saturated with water. I understand that there was a significant amount of rainfall but this park needs to work on their drainage issues. Not all lots all under water, but several are, staff tried to remove some, but without success. Speaking with others, this has been an ongoing issue that has never been resolved for the past decade. Since check in is specific to 2 pm, I would think that my lot would be properly groomed & maintained, however that too is overlooked, the fire-pit was full of garbage & debris from the previous renters. Overall, the full time campers are very pleasant, we enjoyed watching them parade around on their golf carts, but staff need training, I suggest enrolling them into a mutual respect & customer service course.

Danielle has been so helpful with our booking! We're planning on going with friends later this month and she went out of her way to make sure that all our four sites were next to each other. She called other campers to ask if they'd switch sites, even without us asking her to do this. Staff go out of their way to make the experience a great one.

The kids and I were so excited to go to this park and we were very disappointed with it by the end. My lot was mucky when we got there but it had been raining the day before so I didn’t think much of it until it rained again and our lot was completely underwater. We were in ankle deep water for two days and the water smelled like sewage, we were unable to use our lot unless we were in the trailer. I could have let go of that but that was just the beginning. the staff were super rude! the bouncing pillow was broken and unusable because the park was completely flooded, the paddle boats were both broken, the put put course had debris all over it so you couldn’t actually play, we had to borrow a picnic table from another site because ours didn’t have one and then had to put it up to our door so that we could get out of our trailer because of how deep the water was. On two separate occasions I tried to flag down staff and to ask a question and was ignored, and the staff in the office was snappy and needlessly rude. It cost $8 to do one load of laundry which we had no choice because everything we brought was mucky and stinky. This park needs to do some work on its drainage and in my opinion should not rent out sites the flood that badly. One of the pools also broke so we were only allowed to book one pool time per day which is ridiculous when its 85 and there is literally nothing else to do but sit in your trailer. To me if you can’t provide what you advertised you should at least give a partial refund. The seasonal campers were all very friendly I will say that and they do have nice parks but they were all flooded so if the kids played at them they would come back filthy and wet. We made the best of it because we were told no refunds and that’s a lot of money to spend and not use it. Super bummed, will not go back.

This is our first time here for my family and I. Arriving we were greeted with kindness. As we were looking for our trailer we got a bit lost and called the front office. The lady on the phone was super nice and stayed on the phone with my wife until we found the trailer. Upon entering the trailer we liked it. It was clean. First impressions are everything and the first impressions on everything upon arriving were great! I love how Paradise Valley has activities for the kids (kids Olympics, playgrounds, jumpy balloon) and adults, but especially the kids. We loved the BAND on Saturday night. The pools were very clean and well maintained. The Pedal Pub was so awesome! Wow! Fun Fun Fun! We are coming back July 29th to August 1st. I assume all these festivities will be there again. The staff at Paradise Valley are great! I must give a special shout-out to Danielle. She was amazing. We called the front office because we needed something. She was at our trailer within 1 minute and gave us what we needed for the barbecue grill (missing a grate brush). We also loved the hay ride which is very relaxing and you can see the entire campground during the hay ride. We already booked the same trailer for next summer and we can't wait to come again. Our kids love this place and so do we!

I really feel like it’s went downhill in a year. We just left a day early because our entire site was flooded and mud everywhere . Im not sure why they haven’t fixed all the lots. It was completely unacceptable and a lot of weekenders were very upset. We also were very disappointed with the pools not open. We should have been notified and it should be posted on your Facebook/ webpage. We have two more camping trips booked here and I’m hoping the next time I return I see improvements.

Just wanted to say how impressed I was with the support I received from the office staff (Danielle) when booking my site. She was extremely helpful and professional. We have not camped here yet, but if the camp ground is anything like the service I have received so far then I am sure our stay will be amazing! I am looking forward to our stay this summer!

This is the best campground my family and I have ever went to!! So many great events happening, lots of friendly people. Live bands at night, bicycle pub event, daytime kids and adult competitions! It's such an awesome place. Pools are nice and clean, the grounds are kept clean as well. --- Don't want to forget to mention the staff at the front are extremely friendly and very accommodating to items you ask for or need help with.
