Welcome Family-Friendly RV Campground
Riverwood Campground is two miles east of Glenwood, Alberta along the Belly River. Established on 120 acres, our large area has allowed us to create an environment where families could enjoy spacious campsites, trees, natural grass, and wildlife while still providing open meadows and lots of room to play and explore. There is also the added bonus of a fantastic swimming hole in the Belly River.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Peaceful place. The weather didn't cooperate on the Saturday of our visit, but the rest of it was amazing! Love the little Creek/river and we saw a deer shoot past it while we played in the water! We even found some great minerals and crystals on the beach!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love it here. It's been our little getaway spot for several years now. It's a seasonal site campground so most campers are repeat clients and really take pride in keeping their spots attractive. Most of the unserviced sites are quite large compared to other campgrounds in the area while the electric/water are much smaller. Owners Jordan and Marie have always been easy to work with in accommodating any requests. There is normally a waiting list to get a site so if you're considering Riverwood you might want to get your name in early.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this campground. If you want to camp somewhere you feel at home, everyone is friendly and you can let loose this is the place for you. Very open spaces, super friendly people. Amazing decks that people have bought that also make it so homey. The only one downside is that the campground is very close to a river, which a few years ago flooded the whole campground. So during the off season you take your trailers to a top of a hill for flooding. But other than that, its a great place to camp for the summer.
