If you want to get your letters notarized, this place chrages pretty decent. The owner/lawyer is very courteous, friendly, and helpful. She tries to accomodate people's time knowing that you can only make it after work. I have been there many times. Not sure how the other services are there, but no harm giving them a try!

I would not recommend this lawyer to anyone. She doesn't seem professional. With my house closing I had many issues. - She didn't check my mortgage papers and at last day of signing papers she says bank papers invalid and immediatly need modified bank papers. Thank god I had buffer time but that was tensted moment. - She forgot to calculate tax on PST and at last moment she asked to manage $900+, again fortunately I had funds but I was just on the edge. - While I asked her to coordinate with my insurance provider, she didn't do it for a day and last day she says me to contact insurance provider and ask them to send insurance copy by end of the day. - All of her papers that she sent me, it was full of improperly stapled papers which is not professional at all. Please avoid mistakes I made. Giving 2 stars because she closed my property.

She's knowledgeable, but the service fails on many levels. 1. She's at least $1000 more expensive than other real estate lawyers. 2. Everything is done on paper rather than digitally, so that slows the process down and makes it more expensive. You'll also need to meet face to face for signatures even during the pandemic. 3. When we were going through the paperwork, I found that the numbers didn't add up, and showed her my spreadsheet. She yelled that she can't go by my numbers as the bank has already added up everything, and finished with "do you want me to send the papers to the bank or not?!". Since we were near the closing date, I decided to let it go. 2 minutes later, she came back and showed me another line item that she forgot to display in the statements. That was approximately $500. And she didn't apologize for yelling. 4. Non-responsive. I had to call or email her 3-4 times before being able to talk to someone. 5. My sellers created some problems with the closing by delaying the final inspection and key handover. When I reached out to her about it, she refused to back me up and blamed my realtor for not being proactive! This was 100% a legal issue and fell under the category of breach of contract. 6. I pointed out to her in a consecutive email that this was a legal issue, and my realtor had no power to handle it. She finally relented, and then asked me questions that made me think she didn't even read my purchase agreement and other closing documents. 7. After closing, my realtor sent her a sharp email, following which she emailed the seller's lawyer, asking for compensation on my behalf. This was too little and too late, as we had already closed, and at this point we would have had to go to a small claims court and spend thousands in legal fees. I'm amazed that she's been in business for this long.
