Not only is the sugaring experience, itself, so much nicer than waxing (and lasts SO much longer than shaving), but this body-positive business just feels good to visit and support. When you walk in to the reception area, you are greeted with body positive mantras, soothing colors and no messages about all the ways "you could look better if...." Instead of beauty magazines, there are photographs of moms with stretch marks highlighting the beauty and worth of ALL bodies. The owner, Chantalle, is truly committed to creating a welcoming space where everyone, and every body feels welcome. The services she and her staff offer always conclude with a spa-like treatment whether it's hot scented towels around your feet or a delightful facial mask, so that you leave feeling relaxed and truly pampered. Highly recommend!!
V	Veronica J. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had waxed for years with tons of ugly ingrowns, burn marks & irritated skin. I started coming to Sugaring Change ~5 years ago. Sugaring is gentler on my skin. I now have very minimal ingrowns. (If I have any, it's my fault because I have forgotten to exfoliate.) No more burns! I'm on BP meds so my skin tore easily with wax but does not with sugaring. My hair growth has reduced... which is mind boggling because I could've given Chewbaca a run for his money in a Who's Hairier competition. All of the Practitioners I've seen have been lovely, courteous, understanding & have always made me feel welcome. It is definitely a soothing studio with inclusive pictures and uplifting art pieces. I will 100% recommend to anyone who wants to try it! Chantalle also does some philanthropic work, which warms my heart. So, if I can help support that, I will.

Really detail-oriented, proficient, and sweet :) No surprise, because every sugarista I have seen is fantastic. Really professional, friendly, and best of all, really quick! It’s a spa-like experience, but you do want the hair removal to be quick and painless.

Stating it was a miscommunication and that it was not communicated that I was cancelling due to illness. I’ve been coming to Sugaring Change on and off for a few years now. Service has always been great and I’ve always been happy with my results. I recently booked an appointment last week with them and another for today. I woke up feeling sick so decided to cancel my appointment as it could be just a cold or it could be something more but didn’t want to risk anyone getting sick. Little did I know, they told my fiancé on the phone they were going to charge me since I cancelled under 24 hours. Which is fair, if I wasn’t feeling sick. Sometimes you wake up feeling sick even if you felt fine the day before. Since they are so strict with their policy even though I communicated to them my reasoning, it makes me wonder how many people attend their appointments still when their sick because they don’t want to be charged. They are clearly more focused on getting paid instead of focusing on the health of their employees and customers. (I am fully aware of the people who have started to abuse the system using Covid or sickness as a reason to cancel. I have never abused their cancellation policy as far as I am aware which is why this is a shock to me.)

The reviews looked promising and the online booking system was easy to use, so I went ahead and booked an appointment with Marsha for April 2nd. From the moment I walked in, Marsha was extremely welcoming and made the experience a comfortable one for me! She was also very careful and explained the process/steps involved with sugaring. Sugaring is far less painful compared to waxing, and Marsha did an excellent job! Sugaring Change has definitely gained a new client and this will be my go-to place from now on. :)

She's gentle and very quick. You definitely leave feeling so pampered and relaxed. The studio is so welcoming and their products are eco friendly and great on your skin since it's all natural ingredients. Highly recommend Sugaring Change!

I hardly have any redness and my skin is already calming down which is the complete opposite of what I get after a bikini wax! I highly recommend sugaring as it is way better for such a sensitive part of your body! Your skin will thank you. Can’t wait for my next appointment
