★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Busy community park and wood! Noise since it's beside HWy7. A lot of unleashed dogs and irresponsible owners. Of you want to do a leisure walk after dinner or in the morning it's fine. Not ideal for a serious hike or walk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome place for a small family hike close to your home. Clean air and quiet place in the middle of the busy city. Trees are starting to turn yellow. I hope the peak is coming in a week or two.

It’s a Perfect place for wildlife watching, great for walking.
This is a Beautiful forest specially at summer & fall seasons.
All washrooms are closed.
There are two parking lots here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An oasis in the neighborhood, the area of the forest is relatively small. The outter most loop is about 2km in length. So you may have to say to the same person you run into, hello, hello again, hello once more. It can be busy at times.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful trail but be cautious of tree branches and roots if you take the smaller paths. It can get busy at times on warm days but the main trails are wide enough to pass comfortably. I find it is easy to get disoriented if you're not paying attention as there aren't any signs on the paths. Photos below taken around noon in early Nov 2021.
