★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tucker had an amazing time today at the Concord Dog Park. There were lots of medium to large sized dogs for Tucker to play tag and run with. The location for Thornhill dog owners is beside the 407 and easy to get to via Langstaff Rd. It's most important that Tucker has a safe and spacious space to run off leash. Tucker and I will be back there again soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The City needs to do some upgrades. We need a water source for dogs, and also the waste receptacle needs to be moved so that we dont have to open the gate to throw away waste. Lastly, it can be very muddy...any chance to add a drain to carry away rain water?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great park.... have seen many well behaved dogs... and so much space for our dog to run and enjoy! During winter once the snow freezes over I wouldn’t recommend as it’s an accident waiting to happen as the park is not maintained in winter!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been to this dog park twice in the last month and both times I witnessed very aggressive behaviour between unneutered dogs. The last occurrence was between a German Shepperd and a Pitbull...both unneutered (Pitbulls are also not allowed in the off-leash dog park for obvious reasons). My dog is very timid and shy and the last time she almost involuntarily got caught in the crossfire between the two males. Now that I know that many owners who come to this dog park are bringing their unfixed dogs, I am always on high alert whenever I go to this park. It is unfortunate that irresponsible dog owners have to ruin the fun for the rest of us. I wish animal services would enforce their rules stated on the signage upon entering the dog park.
