Black-grass jelly definitely is my top favourite dessert! The portion is large enough to share with friends.

a lovely dessert spot with a huuuge menu!! the interior was a little dark, but still clean and pretty cosy nonetheless. server was attentive and courteous as well, and informed us that the egg waffles would take around 15 minutes to make, which was okay with us as we got to enjoy the shaved ice first! β€” we ordered a green tea and red bean taiwanese shaved ice with added tapioca pearls as well as a black sesame hk-style egg waffle. the presentation was so gorgeous <3 the shaved ice was so good!! it didn’t melt immediately like a lot of other shaved ice! the matcha flavour was perfect and the toppings on the side (especially the glutinous rice balls or小丸子) were perfect additions!! it also came with evaporated milk on the side but we didn’t feel it was necessary to add it. the egg waffle had just the right amount of crisp on the outside with pillowy-soft interior! first time trying black sesame ice cream and it’s safe to say that i love it! however, the addition of cream on the waffle was a little too heavy and the mangos seemed a little overripe. β€” only tried two things on their extensive menu which means that i’ll definitely be returning to try more!!

Only takes cash, but has a really good selection of more traditional Chinese desserts or fusion (like the egg waffle). Also opens late! ?

I've tried a few different items from Sugar Marmalade's menu and all of them were just average. The presentation is very nice for photos but the taste isn't remarkable. As for customer service, I came here with a group of friends last time and some of my friends had to wait nearly an hour before their food was served. To be fair, it was a Saturday night and Sugar Marmalade was extremely busy but I still think it's unacceptable to make customers wait that long.

Great location with a huge menu. Easy to order through their website menu and staff is super nice. Only issue was pancake was slightly over cooked (still good though). Great price point. All photos of food below were less than 50$.

The shaved ice cream was exactly what you need to cool down on a hot day. The Italian sodas are packed with flavour. Only improvement would be to use a different club soda. But it's still nice they give you the can to pour some extra on top.

The food was very delicious - the kimchi fries were very crispy and the beef udon was tender. However, the noodles weren't very chewy and the broccoli was in two huge chunks (see photo for a side by side with an average sized egg). The takoyaki was also a wonderful appetizer. Overall there's a wide variety of options on the menu, and of course you can't forget dessert!
