These days though, Sue is crabby and terse on the phone and for some reason no longer seems interested in taking our order. Minimum $50 for a delivered bouquet (my mother lives 2 blocks away) and yet she finds excuse to be insolent, as if we are making trouble for them. Too much success? Now found less expensive but still beautiful bouquet and delivery service at a nearby florist called Avio--also friendly and hospitable service by phone. Much better!

There is always a lineup on holidays like Mother's Day and that's a good sign. The staff are friendly and efficient in getting the line going. The only flower shop I go to! Gorgus seasonal flowers and plants.

Variety of plants and beautiful flowers, pre-arranged bouquets or build your own with individual stems, baby's breath and greenery. Reasonable prices, clearly marked inside but not often on the outdoor, seasonal display. By mid-week, be careful as flowers arrive fresh before the weekend. There's parking on Joicey Avenue at Bathurst St. right near the Starbucks, or sometimes for a fast in and out or loading I believe you may park temporarily in the alleyway or in back, but check with them first. They are on the east side of Bathurst, a block or two before the 401 Eastbound on-ramp. Mr. Sue is a pleasant man, but when I occasionally see Mrs. Sue I leave hoping that she will improve her "service with a smile." ?

How about you go ahead and surprise that special someone in your life with some beautiful flowers, they’re worth it. Especially when the prices here are very competitive. Plus the staff here are just so nice.

I saw some wrapping papers there and I ask one more time and he was telling me that yeees I can but extra charges. I recommend you to learn how to communicate with your customers. Never come back again.
