★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As always, the Accessibilities Resources office here at the University of Alberta exceeds all expectations as a facility dedicated to assist students with any and all categories of life challenges to help them meet their educational goals. Given all the combined knowledge and experience of the exceptional staff in this office, I cannot begin to express how grateful I am for all the help and direction I have benefitted from. I would encourage every student who faces any kind of challenge to contact this office immediately upon receiving your acceptance letter, including English as a second language students and, at any time during the course of your studies, all those students who might find themselves experiencing a temporary, situational, emotional/mental incapacity to function as a student. If they cannot help you directly, they will be sure to connect you with the campus resource that can . They will mediate with administration and advocate on your behalf. Do not fear stigmatization in any way. They are genuinely sincere in their mission to advocate for all students. Your success is their raison d'être.
