Easy to find place with lots of parking spots, if your going to be heading south upon leaving you'll save lots of time using the south exit/entrance. Clean inside over all including the restrooms which is always nice to see. However they have absolutely no heat in the rink, most places have some form of heating or at least a decent view from a heated area. Snack bar was closed as well, we arrived with 15 players and over 50 family and friends in tow, for a game like that it's a no brainer to make some quick cash being open. No referees or score keeprs to be seen at game time, delayed everything while the host team scrambled to fix the problem. So between no officials, no heaters and no snack bar, hence the reason for only 4 stars, but I'm happy either way because we won the game.

Gets busy with lots of kids which is awesome. Lots of kids learning. Better to go at the second half of public skate if you want a good skate around without having to stop and slow too much.

The Stroud arena has been around for a while. It's a nice addition to an area with plenty of youth. People can come here to play hockey, or their sport, it's got a nice vibe to it, and it also hosts some community events (like elementary school graduation dinners (I had mine here)), overall it's a nice little place, with not much to complain about, the limiting factor is the physical size

I have played here many times over the years, it is an older facility with some worn edges, but it is clean and cared for. The staff and town take good care of it, and the ice sheet is normally in good shape! There is a snack bar and warm seating, though the stands themselves are not heated.

Great family friendly arena. Good place for kids to learn. Saturdays are usually less busy.

Great hometown feel in this small town hockey rink! Great viewing area and great bench (with foot rest) to sit down and watch the game in the main lobby over looking the whole rink. Place was super clean including the washrooms. The young staff working in the evening were very polite.

This wasn't a bad place to go for a hockey tournament. Sure everything is a bit dated, but it works great. The bathrooms were relatively clean. The arena seating is a bit colder than other arenas, but this doesn't take away from the enjoyment of the game, especially if you come prepared. The major downfall of this facility is their concession stand. Between all the people in our group, we ordered nachos, popcorn and two hot chocolates. The hot chocolates tasted like melted plastic with chocolate flavoring, the nachos were stale and almost soft and the popcorn was mediocre at best. Had we not stopped at the concession stand I would have given this place four stars, and the only reason that I gave it three and not two was that it was a decent crowd and a great game. If you do come here, and I do suggest it, just save yourself the hassle and bring something of your own.
