Recently an employee Sara went out of her way to help me out with an issue I was having with my laundry faucet. She was sooooo patient and nice, I cant say enough god things about her. Thank you Sara, Thank you Home Hardware!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wish I could give this location 5 stars but based on the consistent lack of customer service, I can't. I've lived in Streetsville for almost 17 yrs and have patronized this store over throughout the years. Sadly, I can't recall even one occassion where I was offered assistance. Anyone whose visited this location knows its never filled with customers so its unclear why I've never ever been asked whether I require any assistance...YET I've always observed other customers being asked. It feels like they offer assistance to some customers (of their choosing) and not others. I most recently visited the location on back to back days where I was one of 5 customers...and the only one that wasn't assisted. The only positive I can spotlight is the very nice and friendly south asian cashier with the shoulder length dark hair. Thank you for your kindness, the other woman could take politeness lessons from you.
I have decided to take my business to the larger box stores and will even recommend the Home Hardware in Milton.. at least there they realise everyone's money is green.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Admittedly, I will say that I am a fan of smaller community based businesses and naturally, I am more inclined to shop here as opposed to a larger chain like Home Depot.This particular location has been a staple in the community for many, many years. The reason this store wins me over every time is due to the service of the employees. Anyone who has ever shopped at a larger chain may have undoubtably had an unpleasant experience where you could feel as though you are bothering someone merely by asking for assistance and that's if you are able to find someone to help at all. This Home Hardware is not like that whatsoever. Easy access from the street, well stocked, unrushed, unhurried and wholesome. It's a retail experience not easily attained in today's world.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was shopping in this location for over 20 years. I loved this store. I'm passionate about home made food from preserves to homemade sourdough. I used to buy pots, parts for hand grinders, pizza peels etc. Many years ago when pizza peels were not available to general public , the owner had it made for me. Recently, I discovered that the entire section of Canadian and Italian culinary tools are gone. What happened? I suggest the owner takes a trip to Home Hardware in Owen Sound to better understand what I'm talking about. This new Home Hardware looks like Dollarama to me. I will be shopping somewhere else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I could not be happier to have had my very first experience at the Streetsville Home Hardware. I called on a Tuesday about ordering some patio chairs and by Friday the chairs were ready and I was contacted. The price quoted on the phone was incorrect, however Wayne from Home Hardware honoured the price quoted on the chairs and by Saturday they were in the backyard! What an amazing Hardware store. I managed to pickup so many other items there. Unique, and pretty much anything you are looking for they have in stock or are happy to order them in. The service and stock was super impressive and I'd say that while I don't live in Mississauga, I will strive to make that my store of choice! Brilliant!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice, small hardware store. Not overhwhelming like big stores like home Depot etc.
The staff was nice. Store wasn't crowded. Sales guy patiently explained and guided through the product selection for the job at hand.
Prices aren't cheap, that's why not 5 stars. Otherwise the helpful staff did deserve 5 stars.
