★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hubby and I found this place after doing the parking loop a hundred times at Panorama unsuccessfully. It has free parking overlooking the park.
We sat on a bench for the longest time just enjoying the scenery. Only a few people came and went including a family that was more interested in the playground across the street, and 2 kayakers.
It was very pleasant and made the hustle bustle of the rest of the area fade away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cool little place. Great view. Couple of benches and tables. Downside there is very little parking. No washroom. Beach is extremely rocky while grass area has an abundance of bird droppings. This is used primarily for paddle board and kayak launching. Definitely not a "beach"
