Pros: - The massive windows, the string lights and the uplighting make the Storys Building a perfect backdrop for photography. - The food is delicious and the chef Stewart Cameron is amazing! - Service is excellent - The staff is friendly, professional and FAST (that is a huge quality you will appreciate on your wedding day) - The venue is easy to access by TTC or by car Cons: - the building does not have its own parking lot, but there is plenty of parking on Pearl St. Also, you can arrange Valet Parking for your event.

The staff was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and accomodating, and the food, oh my God the food. It was hands down the best meal we've ever had at a wedding. We actually had guests come up to us and tell us it was the best meal they've ever had, period. I urge anyone considering hosting an event here to book it. You will not be dissapointed!!

A	Adina Strom on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ COUPLES BEWARE - My fiance and I booked this venue for our September, 2022 wedding. While in the process of picking a venue, we realized that TIFF would be happening the weekend of our wedding. We talked to the Director of Sales, David, about these concerns on multiple occasions, and specifically, asked whether TIFF would be a problem. David assured us that it would not be a problem and even joked with us about a celebrity coming to the wedding. About 6 weeks after signing a contract for the venue, David called to tell us that we would no longer be able to have our wedding at Storys because "TIFF had the whole building". My fiance and I have struggled to find an alternative venue that we are excited about and that is within our budget as our date approaches. We have been placed in a position by Storys to extend our venue budget, or face penalties from our other vendors if we change our date. Storys has left us in a very stressful situation without any consideration to the extra expenses that they have caused us. I do not recommend booking your wedding at Storys.

Six months prior to our wedding, a representative of Storys, David, contacted us and informed us that Storys wanted to change our scheduled wedding date. David advised that due to TIFF the venue did not feel it could execute our wedding to the standards it wished to. The explanation provided by David was incongruent with prior communications regarding the effect of TIFF on our wedding. Despite having agreed to a wedding date of September 10th, 2022 and our inability to change our wedding date, Storys unilaterally terminated the contract. The contract provided no provision for Storys to change our chosen date or to terminate our agreement. The alternative dates offered were incompatible with our existing vendors and the new dates were for Fridays as opposed to a weekend previously agreed upon. Management for Storys refused to communicate with us, despite our repeated attempts to contact them. We have now secured a new venue, at a higher cost, and paid additional monies for new vendors. Storys has provided no compensation for these additional costs nor have they issued any reasonable explanation or apology for their actions.
