Came to Roy Thompson Hall for the Best of John Williams and was not disappointed. Staff were also very attentive and helpful when my girlfriend and I walked in with her rolled ankle that happened a few blocks away. The bartender was able to get management and a first aid kit to help her out.

Beautiful, architecturally striking building design. And the acoustics are amazing here. I don't know that I've been in a better sounding venue in my life.

I attended the Tchaikovsky symphony and most recently Rodgers & Hammerstein. Gorgeous music and singing. The design of this theatre is remarkable. Plenty of ushers to help guide you to your seating as well. Makes an excellent date spot. Wheelchair accessible and easy access from the PATH.

Went to the Spirit of Toronto Whisky show and tried some outstanding Canadian Whisky. Macaloney’s Island Distillery. Voted best Single Malt Whisky in Canada. You can order online from the distillery and they can ship all across Canada. Sign me up!! This is my new best Single Malt Whisky and proudly Canadian, craft and delicious!

Amazing performers/musicians, great atmosphere and great taste in music. Even if you have trouble sitting through the whole show there so other shows for you, like movies with live music, and short 45 minutes shows (casual series). If you want to watch a love orchestra, this is the best place in Ontario to do it.

I am so glad to have had the pleasure to attend a concert here recently. It was a bit empty but I hope the audience will return back to the concert halls soon. The acoustics is beautiful. If you are looking for classical music in Toronto this is the place to go! Repertoire is a great mix of classical tested standards combined with new pieces.

I went to go see the TSO perform specifically Oundjian Conducts Brahms. The location is convenient as it is right beside the train station and multiple other bus stops. The exterior hall's architecture looks gorgeous with a design that stands out, there is a lovely fountain located to the side with outdoor seating I suppose it is used for outdoor events. The interior is a lovely, clean, modern design, it is pretty spacious. There are multiple wine bars located around the hall where you can buy small snacks or various drinks. Although I do not remember the prices I personally had the house wine which cost about $10 for a glass which may give you some indication of the prices. There are seats and tables where you can enjoy said drinks. I believe the max capacity of the hall is over 2,500 so keep in mind it may get cramped at times, especially at the bathrooms before shows. I loved the atmosphere it feels very professional and formal. The crowd is often times older. I would suggest wearing business casual to formal clothing depending on the occasion but there isn't a dress code. The actual stage itself is large and sounds fantastic, the TSO is truly talented. I would suggest seating earlier depending on where you select your seat because it can get pretty cramped and you will have to go past a lot of people. The staff and TSO were professional and helpful at all times delivering a great show and a great experience overall. There are seat prices ranging from $35 - $200 depending on the location. I would definitely suggest visiting especially if you are into the particular atmosphere and classical music. Keep in mind the shows are quite long so it will be well worth it.

Visited a Toronto Symphony Orchestra concert. Nice venue, everything went smoothly (not sold out). Main hall is modern, lots of balcony with reasonable to good sightlines. Though they used a lot of wood to give the hall a warmer feeling there is a lot of exposed concrete. Very nice seats. Pictures from the R8 balcony.
