★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m a mason and I bought some Violie Charcoal Stack Stone from Stone Concept(Justin and Adrian) on July 25, 2019. Upon arriving to our job the following day I noticed that a lot of Corner and Flat pieces were scuffed and chipped so I contacted the builder to see the stone before I installed. I was worried about installing the faulty stone and then being told to remove it afterwards. The builder rejected the stone and picked another for their house. I returned the stone to Adrian and Justin on Sat Jul 27, 2019 only to be told that I had to pay a 20% percent restocking fee. This 20% restocking fee is quite normal practise with different Masonry companies around the city, it’s meant to prevent masons from returning used stone, or a box with a row of good stone on top and broken pieces underneath. However I thought it was absolutely ridiculous that I was sold faulty stone, rejected by the builder and then forced to pay a restocking fee upon returning. Worst customer service I have received anywhere. Sold faulty stone that is chipped and scuffed and then being told that I had to pay to bring it back. Dishonourable and dishonest way to do business. Never going back again!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our builder referred my husband and I to two stone providers but in the end we chose Stone Concepts based on their variety and prices. They weren't pushy which is important to me because I know exactly what I want and my biggest peeve is when sales people push alternatives when they don't have what I want. We used a manufactured stone for our rental properties to give it the high end elegant look. Just make sure you get it professionally installed so you won't have any issues with freeze thaw cycles. We'll try out their natural stones for our own home renos this summer and I'll keep you posted how it goes.

Adrian and Justin were very helpful and patient with us when we were looking at all the options available. They seemed to really know their products and gave us good advice. I really liked the fact that they had lots of different colors and profiles for the stone. We ended up putting their siding and manufactured stone on the outside of the house and the brick for our fireplace. I'd recommend Stone Concept to anyone, they have great products and great customer service.
