★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 Stars for this years Black History Month event at WEM. The kids doing the MC-ing were fantastic and they had great support from Nigel and Nilo. The Bliss band was also a major highlight for me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of their workers, Nigel, is very unprofessional which is the only reason why I am giving them 3 stars instead of 5. My start up company was given a table at their event and when he was announcing tables he was very unprofessional in describing ours, commenting things like, "go see what they're doing over there" and "whatever they are doing over there." Apparently he knows the director of our organization, as they attend the same church, and they dont really get along. Personal issues should never get entangled with your work life. Extremely unprofessional.

I was happy to see and meet the young entrepreneurs right here in our own backyard! I felt honored to be a part of this event and would recommend talents for next year for sure!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I must commend the work of the NBCC, in executing the Black History Month Opening Ceremony. I have attended a number of these exercises in the past but found the program this year to be particularly engaging, inclusive and showcased a broader range of Black talent. The choice to have younger children host was refreshing and I was particularly impressed with the timeliness of the program!!! WELL DONE!
