Beautiful and rustic log cabin situated right on the east edge of town. I could could lounge the couch and enjoy both the heat from the wood burning fireplace and the beautiful mountain views.

Just stayed at the Stephen Creek Guest Cabin a few weeks ago. Great location for hiking in Yoho National Park. This cabin had everything that my husband and I needed for a four night stay (but don't forget to do grocery shopping in Canmore, Banff or Nelson before driving to Field). And Miles Dickinson, the proprietor, couldn't be easier to work with. Definitely recommend the SC Guest Cabin!

Can't wrap my head around how few reviews this fantastic cabin has! Had a great weekend stay here and will definitely do so again. Field is a good base for anything outdoorsy, summer or winter, and the cabin itself is a super comfortable and cosy place for 2. The kitchenette is small but well equipped, and any place with a proper fireplace is a winner in my eyes. Thanks to Miles for an awesome stay!

Great location for hiking at Johnston Canyon, Emerald lake and Takakkawa falls. Fields is near to the highway and there also a petrol station and some good restaurants. Base on the picture of Stephen Creek is exactly what you get. A quaint mountain/ country cabin. It was love at first sight. This place need more review. Don't expect high end luxury place as this is really those cabin with sufficient necessity. No WiFi just you and your hubby playing games that the cabin have or chill with snacking and magical fireplace and plan what to do next day.

Why are there so few reviews of this lovely property? Our usual guesthouse location in Field was booked, so we decided to give this true log cabin guesthouse a try. Miles was easy to correspond with over email and quick to respond. Booking was a breeze. Property is located on the west end of town, behind the owners' house so if you ever need anything, they are just a short stroll away! Parking space up front provides easy access to cabin. Cabin is a true gem! Love all the bear finishing touches, skis and lodge decor. Super clean and cozy--we stayed during the spring but would be lovely in the winter as well. We loved using the wood burning fireplace and there was ample firewood provided. Kitchen is well equipped and there's also a BBQ on the front porch. Because of the location there was lots of privacy. Loved our visit and Miles was there to check in in us throughout our stay to ensure all was ok. Thank you, and I think we've just found our new preferred guesthouse in Field!
