★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is amazing. Will never argue that. However, 9/10 times I call the phone is never picked up. And if it is, you are put on hold for over 5 minutes while multiple other orders are taken in the background before yours, or they will straight up ignore you. What gives? I've never had a place consistently ignore phone calls or phone orders to this degree.
It's very common for me to be driving home, trying to call them to have food ready for when im home, but no one picks up or I'm on hold, only for me to walk in and order normally. Figure your phone out and quit putting people on hold and forgetting them. I've straight up started going elsewhere because of how ridiculous you guys are with ignoring the phone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Starr burger is one of my favorite burger joints. Great retro style diner atmosphere. Reliably delicious. Ive had most items on their menu and it's all delicious. Sometimes the food takes a while ..but it's well worth the wait. The milk shakes are to die for. Even their salads can be customized.

Good things about it are the price point, very affordable for a filling meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was highly recommended so we decided to give it a try. I found it disappointing. The burgers just tasted like standard frozen patties but were also dripping tons of Grease. The pourine wad also meh, as it wad kind of soggy and just had melted cheese on it instead of actual cheese curds. So overall, it wasn't awful but wasn't that great either. I probably won't go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been going here for years, since 97! Great family owned restaurant, amazing food, tonnes of options and great big portions!
Prices are a bit steep, for 3 combos the price was $41, not what anyone wants to pay for fast food. However I will be back haha!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered the Starr burger, kids cheeseburger, bacon cheeseburger, steak sandwich, and french fries. Everything was delicious!! You can choose your burger toppings including sauteed onions (the best). The fries were fresh not from frozen, and salted to perfection. Will definitely go back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my mama's and my FAVOURITE hamburger place in Whitby. It doesn't matter which end of town you have to journey from - it will be worth the trip. Our order is predictable and satisfying - and ALWAYS delicious! Go for the eight ounce Starr Burger - it is home grown! Yum. Thanks Starr Burger folx - it's been a tough year since my papa passed in June, but dinner from your busy kitchen always makes us smile.
