when you order a venti, and get it 3/4 full and they won’t remake it as it’s how it’s suppose to come…

This Starbucks will trap you in their drivethru and make you wait behind a person who ordered 10 drinks. Employee Laurie refused to ask woman to pull forward so line of us trapped in drivethru (by curbs) for 30+ mins, without having ordered yet could leave. Video uploaded to YouTube. Employee Laurie condescending told me there is "nothing illegal about" trapping a person who hasn't ordered coffee in a drivethru for a half hour, and just needs to leave to go back to work. This is obviously a behavioural issue, but one that unfortunately creates additional issues under the Alberta Traffic Safety Act, as a drive thru lane constitutes a roadway under the Act. The customer ordering 10 coffees in drivethru while store open and able to walk inside, hid her face after refusing to pull forward 10 feet the lineup of us we wouldn't be trapped for a half hour. Complaint filed with head office. A drive-thru lane constitutes a roadway under the Alberta Traffic Safety Act. Starbucks employees are not peace officers and cannot permit a person to impede a roadway in Alberta. Store owner(s) need to educate themsel(ves) with provincial statutes when running a business that creates traffic congestion, not only in drive thru lane, but extending out onto 5th Ave. This is common sense, even for a drive thru wage employee; just get your 10 coffee customer who is too lazy to walk 10 ft inside, to pull forward, and problem solved. Next stop is Town of Cochrane complaint re: traffic issues due to Starbucks drivethru spilling out into road is also a dangerous and constant issue in this Town. Starbucks isn't entitled to do this, yet act as if they are in fact entitled to do whatever they want. I'm happy to follow up as far as this needs to go to remove that corporate entitled arrogance that endangers ppl and wastes their time. Employee Laurie dismissive, despite my politeness and patience.

I have always had a good experience at this Starbucks, the employees are very kind and sweet. The wait time can get a little long so make sure you’re not late for anything before you go! I’ve accidentally been given the wrong drink a couple times, but they are always very understanding and make a new one for me right away. I peeked at the reviews thinking that many people would write the same. I was very surprised… and kind of upset at what I saw. Of course, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but these Starbucks employees are people, not your maids. You have no right to label them with nicknames like β€œcondescending” or take pictures of their faces as well as the customers. If your review has picture of license plates or pictures of anyone’s faces, chances are you weren’t very β€œpatient or polite”.

Been coming to this location for some time and have gotten quite friendly with the staff. However, I have noticed some new hires and one in particular I have seen get quite frustrated on the job with zero disregard for the customers around her, really gives a bad rep. But I always see Sage in the drive-thru who brightens my day with her friendly conversation :)

Took a sip of my coffee this morning and out came coffee beans which freaked me out and could have definitely swallowed. Lovely staff but full coffee beans in the coffee had turned me off going back.

Like several other reviews the drive thru is very slow. Only go here if you have about 30 minutes to wait for your coffee. This is the longest I have ever been in a drive thru for and still had to wait for my drink to be made when I got to the window.

Very slow service. Slowest Starbucks I have ever been to. Took 10 minutes for them to take my order, and then at least another 15 minutes of waiting, inside, to get my drink. Only come here if you have lots of time to waste.
