I like the layout, and the Java Chip half sweet coconut milk frappy. Delish. I also love their lemon loaf and their specialty cookies like β›„ and ?. Yum. It would be cool to have Spring flower cookie or Canada maple ? cookies. All in all its yummy...prices are a bit steep, but if you want quality food, and drink, then you'll pay for it :)

A regular coffee stop like most other Starbucks but it can be quite busy and slow at times.

I order light ice and everytime i got, the ice over half of my drink. The amount everytime i order is different, never be the same. I work near the location so I have to order in this location every morning but this is one of the worst location in Victoria

Exchanged a Starbucks coffee to-go mug with a defective lid. Even though I had the to-go mug for 3 or for months...they were gracious in allowing an exchange for a tech free ceramic coffee mug without a proof of purchase (did you know your Starbucks app purchase history expires after 3 or 4 months on your phone app?).

I visit Starbucks regularly at the Torquay village location, great staff, always courteous and willing to go out of their way. Didn't stop by today because app showed nitro cold brew was unavailable. When I do order on the app, the drink is made, I just pick it up. At this location, my drink cup was sitting nitro brew tap unfilled, my sandwich was ready. I stood at pickup for about 10 min patiently because they looked very busy and I didnt want to interrupt their work flow. Another worker stopped by, looked at my cup with my name, and made a very rude, "is this guy ever going to get here" remark and then moved on to her next task. I turned to her co-worker who was making drinks next to the pickup location and told her I'm here, and she knows I'd been standing there for a while. She told me they need us to tell them when we arrive so they can make it - what? So ridiculously arbitrary, how am I to know that this location operates differently from others? I told her as I said above, I wanted to give them time to prepare drinks in the priority they have and didn't know I was supposed to tell the baristas this. I made a point of repeating to the other rude barista directly I'd been there the whole time. Both went silent, and simply decided to ignore me. I took my drink and headed out. No apologies, nothing.

My first time at this Royal Oak location. There was one person only making drinks, and she was new. As sympathetic as I am to that, I also did not have time to wait 20 minutes for a take out latte. When I asked for a refund after 15 minutes so I could just leave, I was told it would take longer to process the refund than finish making the drink (which ended up being another 5 minutes). So I was given the choice to continue to wait or leave without a drink or a refund. 20 minutes may not seem like a lot of time, but for me, getting a take out drink, it was more time than I had to spend that morning. The staff all told me it wasn't their fault, that they can't control the number of mobile orders, that the barrista was new. No one ever said to me, sorry, and of course here's your refund, no problem. Instead, I was made to feel like I was being overly demanding by asking politely for a refund so I could leave because I had somewhere to be and I just could not wait any longer. I'm so disappointed because as a long time Starbucks customer I have never had this kind of demeaning experience in any other location.
