★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These employees have to deal with some of the most entitled, and rude customers I’ve seen. I was a SB barista for 6 years in Vancouver and each time I go to this location during peak hours I am in awe at the public and how they treat these workers ESPECIALLY in a small community. I know first hand how exhausting it is to have to put up with bs and have to still smile and be kind to keep a paycheque.
To the Parksville public: Use your last two brain cells to have some patience when the store is quite clearly busy. Also, throwing a fit is just embarrassing in your mid 40s and yes I am judging you.
To the staff: Thank you for pushing through this pandemic, and still managing to smile. Your upbeat attitude brings joy to my day each time. :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Never had great service here out of the half dozen times I've walked inside. Average, yes. Poor, yes. But never good/great.
Last time (Nov 9th) I waited 21 minutes for a dark roast drip coffee. It was with an espresso drink that we waited 10 minutes for.... after another few minutes I asked where the drip coffee was. She went to get it and poured some before mine and ran out of coffee! You'd think I would have got one of the first since I was waiting so long, but no... I had to wait for it to brew. Even then she poured coffee for people who had been there less than 5 minutes before I had to remind her I was still waiting.
Stick to 'Serious Coffee' down the road, folks. The staff is great there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's almost painful how slow this Starbucks is. I try to give them the benefit of doubt, in that I'm sure they're doing their best, but, prepare to wait a hell of a long time, ESPECIALLY in store.

Ordered inside a simple flat white ... 15 min later still not made .. was told mobile orders and drive-thru was 1st priority..lol what a lame excuse... servers are rude in there too . Will never use this location again .got my money back and headed out ... the customer service is slacking... not even a apology... terrible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely slow service. I saw the drive thru times and it was 16 min. My drink was a simple strawberry lemonade. I've been waiting 10 mins now. 4 people on staff. Worst service at any Starbucks I've been to. Even through the pandemic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Starbucks was wonderful today! I used my app and other than the wait in the drive thru it was a quick and easy pickup! We each had something different! Dragon Fruit Lemonade Refresher, Green Tea Frapp. Pumpkin Spice Frapp and a Mocha with no whip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stopped in on Saturday afternoon for a beverage and made the mistake of going into the store for a latte… I was able to order fairly quickly as the cashier was ringing the orders through left, right and centre; however, it took significantly longer for the orders to be made as the drive thru was busy and mobile order patrons kept coming into the store.
