★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You wouldn't expect this caliber of specialty coffee in a small town like Qualicum, but French Press would fit right in with the best coffee shops of Seattle, New York, Vancouver or any other major city. The roast is top class, the espresso is perfectly balanced, the baristas are consistently pouring great shots and producing perfect micro foam. The ambiance is hip and the food at that is very good. Absolutely worth a stop if you're in Qualicum and want high end specialty coffee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the best cups of coffee I have ever had! There was so many different flavor profiles to it. It was spectacular. They were also super accomodating with helping me to prepare a bottle for my son while I got my coffee. I would most certainly recommend this place to anyone in the area. It is most definitely worth the drive for their delicious roast!! And with the friendly staff to boot makes for a perfect experience!
Will definitely be driving here again and very soon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a fantastic spot. The food was absolutely delicious and the price is right. I ordered a breakfast bowl and definitely wasn't disappointed, it come with scrambled eggs, cheese, peppers, greens and some incredibly delicious thick cut bacon. I would definitely recommend the bowl. The coffee was also fantastic. I will definitely be back at some point

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in here for a coffee and bite to eat before catching the Ferry. For a drip coffee found it strong and satisfying. My breakfast was absolutely delicious. Very flavorful and tasty. Service was friendly and helpful. Worth a stop if you are looking for a quick bite and decent cup of joe.

I’ve been a coffee connoisseur for many years, invested in equipment, time and training and seek only the best roasts to suite my taste. FP has surpassed my expectations of finding good coffee in the island. I love the Winter Wonderland blend, Ethiopia Kilenso and the Home Blend. All outstanding. Jeremy is a master roaster and always helpful. Thank you for contribution to the culinary culture on Vancouver Island and the opportunity to order online!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The most amazing coffee shop I’ve been to on the island! Delicious food, muffins and coffee. Mushroom toast had so much flavour. Mocha with oat milk was perfect and not overly sweet. Muffin was really fresh. Great ambiance and friendly staff. So glad I found this place. It’s going on my “must stop” list for every time I’m on the island.
