★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The visit was fine for the most part. I picked some red cedar 2x12 pieces and paid over $400 for both. I asked ro have them cut to 6 foot lengths. I found a guy and asked him to do it and he started barking at me like I was a complete inconvenience to him. What?! What do you need cut!!?? I said they are still standing over here...and he said We'll you have to go and get them!! I just smiled at him in disbelief. I was told the guy would grab the lumber and cut them for me. I wasn't aware that I had to grab them myself.
I think regardless of how much money I'm spending I should be treated with respect. I didn't get the guys name but he was running the mitre saw.

Great cedar stock with all the old school full rough sizes.
Friendly helpful staff and decent prices for the occasional small order for homeowners.
I recently picked up a small trailer load of cedar to rebuild my old fence. All of the wood good and straight and quite useable. No waste.

Not only did Stefano expertly answer my questions, he was cordial, personable, and clearly enjoyed his job. AND had a great sense of humour. I wish all sales people were like him.
