★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the coolest Fringe performance space ever! Neighbourly and cool staff, rad new art and ambiance out the effing wazoo! The beer selection is surprisingly robust, the menu is TOP NOTCH and most importantly, the peanut butter marshmallow squares are both MASSIVE AND BETTER THAN MY AUNT LOIS'S. And my aunt has been making me my own personal tin of those babies every Christmas as far back as I can remember. What is it in Colette's recipe that makes them unforgettable?! Is it maple syrup? I don't know, but I can tell you that as I sit at home in Toronto this December eating my Aunt Lois's squares, I think back wistfully on those squares from my two July weeks in Hamilton and I feel REALLY GUILTY. Please never tell my Aunt Lois about this review.
