★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the few churches in Edmonton open every day outside of church service times. Basically the building is open to the public from 11 AM-7 PM Mon-Fri plus extended hours on the weekend. It is a beautiful building in a kind of “Romanesque meets the 70’s” sort of way. The stained glass is in a very particular/peculiar 1970’s style. The stations of the cross are particularly unique and unlike any other I’ve seen in the world. Hats off to this parish for making this church so accessible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had to go somewhere to help a friend get a blessed Rosery, if I had noticed a small sign showing an elevator, I would not have walked to the main doors. Once inside wow was I impressed with the interior, the wood all a dark honey, the whole ambiance said spiritual and holy. Would recommend if you need a place to relax and meditate, if you just want to talk to someone, there is someone there to help, from the security on UP. 4 1/2 ????✨

While I certainly don't go as often as I probably should, I honestly have nothing bad to say about it.
The music, the singing, and the holiday mass are truly beautiful spiritual experiences.
If you are a Catholic, Christian, or otherwise religiously or spiritually inclined, I'd recommend a pilgrimage.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like visiting this place. It's very quiet and welcoming. I feel connected to God whenever time I come in to spend time meditating about God's love for us. No matter how much my burden is, I feel listened and comforted by God while praying in this cathedral. God be blessed to give chance to come once in while at this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My place of refuge, peace and tranquillity of mind , body and spirit. As I am Italian horn and raised in the traditional Latin based masses.The Basilica is the closed to what I had over the past 30 plus years.
Yes it doesn’t have Rocken roil Christian guitar music but the traditional singing and Massive Organ playing Hymn’s sung.. Come One Come All is they’re motto.
