St John Ambulance. They save lives and teach others to save lives. The instructors are extremely qualified and I can't possibly imagine how anyone would give it less than five stars.

Very low quality experience taking first aid here with instuctor "Jeremy" on August 23, 2016. The details of the day have been made in a formal complaint, but to summarize: Jeremy seemed to take exception to my partner for some reason that is not clear. He was extremely rude and disrespectful. He criticized her aggressively and excessively in front of the entire class of 15 people to the point that she was no longer staying in class for the day and left after requesting a refund. His behavior made the rest of the day and class extremely uncomfortable for the remainder of the class. I also watched him lurk around the office trying to listen in as my partner made her complaint to the staff who are in charge there. The staff dealt with the situation as best they could, but the outcome has been extremely disappointing regardless . I would recommend seeking first aid training elsewhere, or at the very least, check the schedule and be sure not to attend any classes that are taught by their instructor "Jeremy"

I would advise anyone looking for any kind of first aid certification to steer clear of this office, or at the least avoid taking a course with an instructor named "Jeremy" (no last name was ever provided for this instructor). Jeremy was extremely bossy and rude when delivering instructions, and when he took issue with me not touching my partner enough (who he had already switched on me without my consent) , I informed him I was not comfortable running my hands along a strangers "upper and inner thighs" and "from the armpits down to the hips". He yelled at me, in front of the entire class, that he would fail me if I didn't do exactly as he said. I left shortly after the incident, and informed the office staff about what had occurred. The program director said "we've never had a complaint about him before", which didn't serve to make me feel any better. I called HQ and left a formal complaint with the Manager of Training; however, the matter has not been further addressed since submitting my complaint. I'm extremely disappointing in St. John's Ambulance, not because this issue occurred in the first place (the instructor is a contractor and not employed by St. John so I can't fault them for his behaviour), but because there was absolutely no follow up on a very serious issue.

The parking is horrible at this place. We're told not to park anywhere near the building and then have to walk a treacherous icy path in the dark to the building's back door to get to class. Meanwhile, there's an empty parking lot in the back but it's reserved for volunteers and staff that have gone home for the evening - we should be able to use the front door at the very least. Other than the horrendous parking situation at St. John's Ambulance, we had a good experience learning first aid.

Very great people in the office!. The instructors I had and have gotten to work with over the years have been amazing through st John ambulance team. I see that the staff are efficient and qick to update information and techniques. The equipment and teaching tools are well maintained and cleaned well. I feel confident in the skills I've aquire from St John ambulance. I feel like part of a team I was so very happy after taking my last cpr and first aid course I'm becoming an instructor. I feel the encouragement and positive instructors I had helped make that decision a solid one to pursue.
