There is a nice playground structure for the kids. My daughter likes the spinning wheel thing and the newly installed mist spraying thing. Not sure what either are called. She also likes to climb up that big box thing to go down the slide, but she doesn't actually like the slide. As a result, she climbs back down the other way... She also likes to walk on the asparagus/carrot/chopsticks thingy. I think they are carrots, however, I have heard varying opinions as to what they actually are.

Probably the nicest park in the Toronto downtown area - formal gardens, green space, mature trees, a market vegetable themed playground ( yes you read that correctly) and relative tranquility. Views onto King St and the St James Cathedral framed by the bank β€˜towers of power’ in the background. Worth a while to sit and people or butterfly watch - grab something from st Lawrence market and lunch on the grass or sneak a beverage in and just watch the world go by

Last time I was in that area was when I went to George Brown a few years ago and the park had an area under renovation! Going there this week I saw the finished park and it's a super nice community green space, lots of flowers and trees. Also so many dogs! ??

My friend wanted to take me there because it's their favorite garden and I was absolutely not disappointed. After a long day on the town, this was a perfect place to sit, take a few pictures of the lovely gardens, and just enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. Also, I made a point to my friend of really liking "evil looking churches", and that church next to it is the most beautifully evil looking church I've ever seen.

Awards winning inner city playground designed by Earthscape in downtown Toronto. Paid street parking available. Built in spring 2019 and equipment in good condition. There are asparagus, ice cream cone and carrots in site. Yum~ Super high and fast slide....FUN!

Our favorite park in the city! Right next to the St James Cathedral. Just recently renovated, it has beautiful gardens with a small fountain and also one of the best playgrounds. Though it’s located in downtown it feels calm and relaxing here. Love this place!

Fascinating view and greenery throughout the park. Spacious enough and have a clean walkway. Maintained space for kids to play and adults to just hangout catching sunset or sunrise moment.
