The attendees of this church have no consideration for the safety on the neighbourhood. They illegally park on the street, even into intersection. This makes it very unsafe, especially if emergency vehicles need to come down the street.

Complete lack of parking makes this church terribly unsafe for the street it is on as church goers park on the street in flocks despite knowing full well that it is illegal to park where they do. This is a known issue and the church has done nothing to correct the issue for the community it is in.

It’s a nice historical church, as I understand was founded in 1909, and located in the Junction area. It’s one of the few churches in the surrounding Toronto area with a Vietnamese community. My children were baptized here, along with much of my wife’s nieces and nephew. I agree with everyone who has issues with the parking here. As far as I know, there is no parking for parishioners, as the church does not have designated spaces. During mass, both sides of the streets on Pacific might have parked vehicles, and yes some cars are parked, whether with or without an occupant, right on the side walk. This is lawfully unacceptable. I’ve picked up family members from this church before, and it’s just chaotic after mass with vehicles all over the place. People have been known to park their vehicles in the No Frills parking lot, to which I recall they might be ticketed. Across from here there is a Green P parking which is where I go. According to the by-laws you can only park on the city streets for no more then three hours, but seeing how tight it can be on these streets, it can potentially be blocking emergency vehicles. I don’t think the parking issues will be resolved anytime soon.

A Vietnamese church in the middle of Toronto city. A place of religious activity for Vietnamese parishioners. A place that gives warm feeling to Vietnamese people who have to live far away from their homeland.
