โ โ โ โ โ I wish I could say good things about this place but it has been so frustrating to deal with St. Andrew's Hall. My daughter stayed here for 2 years and almost every time she checked out for the end of term, we were charged with a cleaning bill even though the place was left cleaner than she arrived. The floor adviser and maintenance supervisor also let my daughter know before she left that the room was very clean but sure enough, we were charged a cleaning bill. Somebody is making a lot of money charging students in this way. The housing supervisor is very difficult to talk to and is very confrontational. My daughter finished her schooling a month early but St. Andrew's Hall still charged us a whole month's rent for an empty room even though we let them know 4 months early that we wouldn't need the room. They said the didn't want the room to be empty but we knew that for sure, there was a waiting list for the room. The president of the college wasn't any help either. Don't be fooled by the "Christian" name this organization takes.

โ โ โ โ โ I enjoy living at St. Andrew's Hall, the officers are very kind and care about residents. The room is big and cozy. A very good place for students, single and family. EXCELLENT PLACE TO LIVE IN!

โ โ โ โ โ This was the best place ever to be during my time of study at UBC campus. It is not only for its privileged location, close to the UBC bus loop and the swimming pool, or because of its welcoming staff and neighborhood with good playgrounds close by and food and recreative facilities, or because of the great infrastructure of the townhouses. It is the sum of it all, plus the spaces and opportunities St Andrew's Hall create to connect people. This was specially important for me, as I am foreigner in Canada.
I highly recommend St Andrew's Hall, no matter if you come to study for a week, a month or for many years.

โ โ โ โ โ I spent two years at St. Andrews' Hall. The place was quiet and well furnished and on campus which was a big plus for me, as an out of province student. The worst thing about the place, and what really brought down the rating, is the housing office. They have a terrible move-out policy. They inspect the place twice. The first time you get a housing rep who says everything is fine. The second time is after you move out and they take your deposit on bogus cleaning charges. My recommendation is to take pictures before and after leaving so you can demonstrate that you left the place clean. I would not recommend this place because of how the move out policy is made.
