★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just had double hernia surgery. I was super nervous, and just overall feeling off about my situation. The staff where beyond reassuring, nice, very clear and thorough with all the processes. Everyone was extremely professional, kind, and bedside care was amazing. I can't thank my surgeon and staff enough, they made the situation more accommodating than I could have ever imagined. The facility was spotless to a point u was impressed. Thank you to all who dealt with my silly character in the recovery room. Im the fried chicken and shrooms guy! I thank you for sharing my humorous persona. SGH is 20/10 hospital!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst possible hospital, the staff is disrespectful and condescending.
Twice I've went in with a heart rate of 160 and twice I've been sent out being told this is normal.
Other doctors tell you not to go to this hospital and they are right, you will not receive help for anything past a broken bone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Discriminatory. With a broken nose, which prevents me from breathing properly, still forced me to wear a mask, with mandates lifted. I got natural immunity, I’m not worried, but you should get the booster if you’re worried it stopped working. Stay flocked together

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another joke of a day at Squamish general. Just requesting lab and imagery report. After filling out all the forms, I was then informed"this can't be done", and may take 30 days? I've been doing this for 20 years in Whistler with no problem. Then I was told to give a fax # to my (specialist) and for them to fill out a request for my records, then get me to sign, send back to my Dr to then send to squamish general, to send Now to my doctor. Meanwhile, it sounds like a party behind the hide behind wall so I don't have to work wall. Called my doctor, and she even laughed of the? Practice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Devon, the manager, is unbelievably kind and empathetic to the people of the community. She helped me out at a very stressful time and thanks to her, I have had my concerns dealt with on not just a professional level, but a pure humanitarian one. Great manager! Will definitely recommend this hospital!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing , I had surgery at Squamish General Hospital Feb, 2022, I want to thank Dr Slater and her amazing surgical team I was so very impressed with the excellent care I received starting with the lovely pre-op nurse Lana, all the wonderful Operating room nurse’s , anesthesiologist Dr. J, Jamieson, Post -op care Ali and team , Dr. Slater and team where extremely professional , incredibly Kind, friendly and compassionate, The surgery was a very positive experience I felt like I was in the best possible hands I feel forever grateful for all the amazing care I was given. Thank you all so very much .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The receptionist in the Emergency department has got to be one of the rudest people I've ever seen in a customer service role ? Rude and snappy with the patients coming in as well as the other nurse behind the counter. We all have bad days, don't take it out on those at your job, specifically those probably going through alot already.
