We are Sponsor Energy – a socially conscious energy broker that was founded with a clear goal in mind – to provide excellent, low cost energy plans to Canadian households and to support local charities doing great work in our province.
We are proud to be Alberta-based! We have been in business nearly 10 years and have experienced steep growth due to our unwavering support for local charities, our ultra-competitive prices on power and gas and our excellent customer support.
We serve tens of thousands of customers across Alberta and expanding our services (particularly internet, cellular & TV) into British Columbia and across the country.

β β β β β Absolute trash. How does a combined gas and electricity bill go from $180 one month to well over $400 the next with little to no fluctuation in outside temperature? This has now happened several times and Iβm looking at other providers. The inconsistency and poor explanations are past disappointing. Good luck using this company.

β β β β β If I could give it 0/5 stars I would. So unprofessional and no body knows what is going on. Seems like these policies are made up on the spot with how many different things I've been told. Having my bank account cleared out from their systems malfunctioning and telling me I have to talk to my bank about it as they have no control over it.
Unbelievable.
Especially the customer service, it takes days to get a response! If I call a company I expect to speak to a live person the same day I'm calling.
I've cancelled everything due to these major issues. It's just a headache and a waste of time. It almost seems like a scam with how much the invoices increase over one month compared to enmax or direct or atco.
Not to mention that they are only providing 2 commodities and I'm paying more than what I had when I was with enmax for trash, water, natural gas, electricity, etc.
I strongly advise anyone to reconsider their decision before signing up.
Just another thought , not sure if this is true, but if I call other companies like energy for less or regional energy or burst energy, it sounds like it's the same people working for all these companies .... I've called around a few times and I recognize the voices from this company. just something I've noticed ... 0/5 stars.
