★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While most just want to get up and down the Malahat as quickly as possible, it is worth stopping at least every now and then for excellent views at the summit and split rock view points. Really gives you a different view of Victoria.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is not a formal lookout with a table, bathroom and rest area. Instead it is place to pull a vehicle over and have an amazing look over the Gulf. It is not exactly a safe place for kids as cars can come in rather quickly. It also has not place to sit down and eat. It is a photo op pure and simple.
