Terrible doctor. Waste of money and time. Horrible

DON’T SEE THIS “DOCTOR” HE DOESN’T CARE ABOUT HIS PATIENTS. HE ONLY CARES ABOIT THE MONEY AND MAKING THE SALE!!!!!! Back in June 2011 I went to visit Dr. Chousky at his Spinal Relief Centres of Canada in the Chousky Clinic at 53 The Links Road. He told me I had a bulged disc and sent me for an X-ray. The only thing he told me about the X-ray was that it didn’t show any type of bone disease, so I was able to go through the spine decompression treatments. He gave me his sales pitch, and told me it would cost me $4,000 to do the full course of treatments and I could not pay as I go. Out of desperation, I reluctantly gave him all of the money up front on my credit card as I didn’t have the funds. Half way through the treatment I told him I wasn’t feeling better, in fact I was feeling worse. He said it was because I wasn’t finished the full course of spine decompression treatments. I reluctantly continued the rest of treatments only because I paid up front, otherwise I would have stopped. By the end of the treatments, I was feeling even worse and could now not sit, stand or walk anymore. His only solution to this predicament was to offer me more spine decompression treatments for free. I declined! I spend the next year in bed or laying on the floor. In that time, Feb 2012, I went to see an Orthopedic Surgeon who clarified with me that my back issue was absolutely not a disc issue. In April 2012, I did an ultrasound and was diagnosed with a torn Gluteus Medius. This explained why my issues became worse while Dr. Chousky was pulling my lumbar spine with his decompression machines. When I was finally up to it, I emailed the clinic with this information and told them I had been bedridden for the past year and that I would like my money back, so I could put it towards treatments that will help fix my original issue as well as the new damage they caused. They didn’t even have enough respect to call or email me back. In this time, the damage that was caused by Dr. Chousky’s treatments is: I now have serious damage to my lumbar spine, my pelvis has been pulled out of place which has led to serious back problems and pain in my low back, mid back, shoulders and neck. I am only 43 years old. I got a copy of the x-ray he took back in June 2011 and I even states I didn’t have any disc issues. This is what it wrote “Spine Alignment normal, No spondylolis or spondylolisthesis. No significant degenerative disc or facet changes identified.” Once I realized he knew I didn’t have disc issue and took my money and treated me anyway, I have decided now to peruse this issue further. I don’t want this subhuman to do this to anyone else. I have It’s been almost 8 years and I am still recovering and spending money from the further damage he caused. I would still like my money back!!

The Surgeon told me the feeling would most likely come back over time. Ten years later I still had severe numbness. Really best described as no feeling. I came to the Clinic out of desperation. Dr. Chousky took the time to understand my situation and offered me some hope. We agreed to try a few weeks of treatment. I am thrilled to say the feeling has now returned and I am eternally grateful. Thank you!!!!!
