Went in for a cleaning 2 weeks ago and they actually polished my teeth BEFORE the doctor did the scaling. If I am not mistaken scaling is where they scrap the plaque and tartar from the surface of your teeth.
I am not a trained in dentistry in any way but from my research it is not common practice to do so. I would compare the action to polishing your car BEFORE you cleaned it.
Case2:
However, what made me decide to make this post is due to an earlier appointment about 3 weeks ago on Dec 10th, in which the doctor attempted to redo the filling for 3 different teeth on the same side of my mouth.
The procedure itself was difficult to bear thru due to the length of time it took to finish three teeth in one sitting, which I can understand at the time.
However, even after almost a WHOLE MONTH I am still feeling SENSITIVITY and PAIN in one of the teeth whenever I bite or floss.
The most disappointing part was there was no major pain or discomfort before the procedure from those specific teeth! I am actually left with more pain and discomfort than I went in with!
CONCLUSION:
Long story short, both my trips here have not been great and would not personally recommend.
