Sonu Haircut Surrey (whalley)

Friendly technician but not impressed with the work done. I did not have a great feeling the minute I sat in the chair but got my nails done nonetheless. I've been getting my nails done for years and I have always had the tech use powder for the nail and white tip. The technician at this salon told me I had two options to have polish or gel as white tip. I was taken back because other salons use powder for white tip then clear polish or gel coat. I was told gel tip will last longer but was $10 extra. So I opted for gel. Well the white gel lifted 2 hours after I got home. Was not impressed at all. My 7 year old didn't like my nails either. Anyhow I contacted the technician who told me to come by and she would fix at no extra cost. I've decided not to go back. I am going back to the salon I used to go to and Where I never had any issues with the nails chipping or breaking. ?????? also the bowl with acrylic power had old dried power around the edges...didn't look hygienic at all.

Problem 1 My 2 year worth long hair is SPOILED by these guys - I lost most of my hair by these unprofessional hairdressers (it would be a shame to real hairdressers if I call these guys a hairdresser). Problem 2 They failed to keep up with our family appointment yesterday. When we showed up yesterday, only gents hairdo was available and the ladies hairdresser for my wife has apparently gone due to an exigency. While we understand that cancelling appointments due to emergencies is acceptable, but we were not even notified beforehand so we would have done an alternative arrangement Problem 3 Since the second guy who 'fixed' the first guys mess on my hair (reducing it even shorter) was nice enough to at least understand our problem, we tried to book my wife again in this morning for a 12 noon appointment. The guy who picked up the call confirmed the 12 noon appointment and asked us to call at 10.30 again to 'confirm' (?) the time again. When we called now, they are booked until 1.30. My wife is working from home, she thought she could use her lunch break for this. but now we cant. We are planning to cancel our tonight's events because of these guys. They offered to knock 5 dollars off my haircut and beard trim to 'alleviate' the wrong they did for my 2 year worth of hair. This is ultimate disrespect - i didnt took this offer. I paid them what is on the receipt - but didnt tipped them, they didnt deserved any. Disrespectful for your hair and beauty. Disrespectful for your time. What a waste of time. I have criticised other barbers here, but this is by far the worst experience.

Sorry for the delayed posting. Life got busy. I have to share this post, cause my experience was amazing! I want to give a big shout out to Khushi Sidhu!! She did my hair back in August for a friend's wedding. I felt relaxed and heard and I let her do her magic. I am very cautious when it comes to my hair due to loosing it through Chemo. Cancer has been gone for many years now. So grateful to have faith and trust. Khushi is My hairstylist for life! Here are some pictures back in August and to show how good it looked and still very happy with the cut and color. I get many compliments. Thank you again to her and the whole team at Sonu hair. This place was amazing. Tarun did a fantastic job on my haircut. For the first time, I was satisfied with my haircut and thanks to Tarun for giving me my desired haircut. Definitely coming back again. (Ps. Also a good place to vibe on Indian Punjabi music)

Heard a lot about this hair cut franchise so have to try, so came all over from Victoria to get one and they didn’t disappoint at all, a perfect hair cut what all we brown people looking for and they gave you the same , my guy name was Harman at Whaley road location , asked every single detail told me how to go for that look as the look you have in your mind and seeing it in mirror will take some time and he guide me through all that , very happy with the haircut and beard trim , feels like ages since I had that kind of cut without saying any single word or giving instructions after every 10’min, he did all by listening to me once , perfect 10 , totally recommend go see Harman ✌??

I had an amazing experience today. I booked an appointment and Raj cut my hair. I have been a lot of places and she was by far one of the best hair dressers i have been to. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she gave me exactly that. I will definitely go back to see her again. And i will take my son to see the barbers there now too. I highly recommend.
