Distressed, I made one last call and found Theo at Songwood contracting. He was the only contractor to interrupt his intensely busy schedule to come from gananoque to have a look. The next day Theo sent two guys out to put in several jacks to secure it until they could get to it, which they figured would be at least eight months. I was so surprised when they were able to squeeze me in in July. I’m not even in their territory but they were willing to help me anyway once they saw the seriousness of it. If anyone is looking for a great company to help you with any job, I would highly recommend Theo and Songwood in a second. It’s the first time I’ve ever given a contractor’s men a tip, but they went above and beyond to do a perfectionist job in every way. In my opinion, Songwood’s pricing is very fair and workmanship is second to none!!!!! Thank you Theo and the boys for everything!!!!!

What had taken over a year to undergo, Theo and his team finished up in an appropriate time. Theo's attention to detail and integrity to quality are outstanding and by far surpassed my expectations. I can’t recommended them enough - great service, great people, great finished product - and all very fun to work with all the way through the project. We had a large backyard project putting in a pool and Songwood was there to build a deck, pool house and garden shed as well as electrical for the pool. Songwood also recommended and effectively managed the fence and gas contractors. Theo was very flexible and worked with us to make the designs “on the fly” and provided many solutions to any design challenge. And we couldn’t be happier with the finished products. But what set Theo apart was his willingness to be involved in the whole project (including supporting me with the pool and other landscape contractors) and help us manage the project. I could easily ask Theo a question about another part of the project (like how long is the fence on one side) and he would know the answer - that’s how involved and caring he was. Give Songwood a call. You won’t regret it!

Professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and worked very well together. Our support beams look great, and we are so glad we had the Songwood team for installation!

We were surprised that the estimate did not specify that the hours included the time needed for the estimate visit, we had assumed that the estimate would be free as is commonly offered by many contractors. Notwithstanding, the work was done very well and we were satisfied.

The biggest aspect was that he removed and rebuilt our deck, it turned out outstanding! His company is very professional, he was there when he said he would be, there was no surprises, the material used was top grade! If there was any questions or suggestions he replied with very thoughtful answer(s), we believe there is no project too big or too small that Songwood Contracting couldn't handle! From demolishing an attached pool house, abating all the asbestos in the home and retrofitting a new heating/cooling system to installing Maibec siding, 48 new windows and doors and completing the finishing touches on the built ins and trim work, Theo Graham and his skilled team were up to every challenge. Songwood's willingness to take on a variety of tasks coupled with their excellent working relationship with other local trades allowed us to navigate the twists and turns of this massive and very fluid project. Together we were able to quickly suss out solutions to issues as they arose which allowed us to remain on a tight schedule.
