★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unsafe and unhygienic place to work. I got sick just after a month of working there. Small crammed break room, no parking. Management is unorganized and sloppy and they blame the employees for their incompetence. No support or help. I quit after a few weeks and the manager/owner demanded I give a two weeks notice which is not required in Alberta if working less than 3 months. Sending me intimidating and unprofessional messages or not responding to my messages for weeks. But if you respond a day late then she throws a fit and sends you bullying messages.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I booked a spa date for my wife and myself. Dara was very helpful with choosing a package The appointment was booked with ease and we had a wonderful afternoon at Soma. Thanks to the staff for such a pleasant experience. Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Takako does wonders with your feet; I highly recommend booking their classic reflexology treatment. However, note that noise travels easily between walls, which is quite annoying.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely place to escape for some rest and relaxation. I had a massage with Courtney and it was divine. I will absolutely be back to see her! I also had a pedicure which was lovely but I didn’t receive the paraffin treatment which was a bit disappointing but other than that the pedi was absolutely delightful. I’ll be back for another one of those too!
Editing to change my review, it was totally my bad that I didn’t realize the paraffin was an add on treatment, and the price isn’t crazy either, only $10 to add on to an already affordable $70 pedicure. Had it done today with Aminah, it was absolutely amazing and Aminah was wonderful & so kind!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I booked a message for my sister as she is a new mom of twins and is in extreme amount of stress. I also booked her baby sister after getting a message of confirmation that massage is confirm, they called to cancel as the massage therapist isn’t feeling well. I tried to understand even tho I spent money on baby sister but it’s fine it happens. I booked my sister massage AGAIN for the second day and again received a message to confirm and after I confirmed I waited an hour then I booked baby sitter again for my sister so she can get a massage, they called and cancelled again saying the massage therapist quit. I understand life happens I tried to tell the receptionist that I booked a babysitter second time she had no interest in hearing and suggested nothing to makeup for the cancellation NOTHING, just plain okay we can book facial or book you for next week. I was really excited to be booking with them but to me it feels like an unprofessional place where clients aren’t valued. I’m still waiting on my refund. I’m highly disappointed, It’s as if they do not value a client.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Aminah is one of the most caring esthetic practitioners at Soma. I may be slightly biased, since I always ask for her. My son Pat gifted me with another spa day, where I had a pedicure and Radiance facial. I left feeling loved and pampered...a feeling that lasted long after the treatment. From the moment you book with Dena to the reception you get upon arrival to their preparedness for your session....a beautiful experience. The facility is first class as is the staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow! From the moment I stepped foot inside Soma until long after I left, I felt relaxed and rejuvenated. I started my day with a 60 minute massage that was extremely helpful for my chronic pain and relaxed all my tight muscles. I've also gotten my brows shaped here and was super happy with the result. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. Everyone from the front desk staff, massage therapists, and aestheticians were welcoming and very professional. They make sure your experience at Soma is really something special. Soma offers great discounts each month too, so I'd highly recommend visiting if you are looking for an amazing spa experience!
