★ ★ ★ ★ ★ just shopped here. beautiful store lousy service . glass lid on seafood collapsed. employee was all concerned we might beak it instead of confirming no one hurt
then goes on to tell us it comes out all the time. then we lined up for over twenty minns while the cashier at the six people lineup waited for a price check. finally managed to get a space in the self serve to find no bags available and a teller right next to the cart who actually snorted that we has to put everuthing on table and then reload a cart but never offered one bag . not a hassle free or inviting experience. think i will go shop at walmart

Cashiers are always welcoming and friendly Abit more pricey but I think the overall quality makes it worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This rating is solely on my experience today. I purchased some hot and ready food. The haddock that I bought was hard and extremely chewy. It had been sitting out way too long and was inedible. Please rotate out your hot food once it sits for too long. I had to throw it out and ate only potato wedges for dinner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have shopped this Sobeys for years and I enjoy for its diversity of products they have there. Their health food section is quite robust. They're a little more expensive than most though which is the only drawback for me. Staff there are friendly and helpful. The store is kept clean and it's definitely following covid guidelines. The potato scallion bread is amazing!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely terrible place to shop, produce is generally rotten or will be in a matter of days, it seems they allow their produce to freeze as many times I have come across icy items. prices are higher than everywhere, deli counter just piles your cold cuts in one massive pile then jams it into a bag.
Meat counter cuts look like they are done at a school for the blind and handless.
Cashiers have no sense of urgency, and considering they generally only have 1 cash open, you can spend over 15 minutes trying to cash out.
I think the only thing they have right in this place is their frozen foods are frozen...
I bought these strawberries today...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today ( May 15/22) I went to the Deli Department for Lunch Meat.
Had the GREATEST EXPERIENCE!
The young lady waiting on me was kind and super polite. The Cold Cuts were layered in the package not just a handful of Meat stuffed in the bag.
Ayden you know what Customer Service is all about. I hope Sobey's realize your abilities.
Definitely 10 out 10 in my books.?
