Self registration is quick and rate was $15.70. I didn't stay here as it was full so I stayed in the adjacent campground which is the overflow. Make sure to walk over to admire the Snaring River.

Good privacy on some lots, very friendly staff, free firewood, can hear the river from certain campsites, outhouses were clean, large campsites that you get to pick.

We had an amazing experience here, two elks ran through the woods while we were around the camp fire. Great pitches some more secluded than others, usual toilets, drinking water & wood for fires.

Like any other National Park campground it is well maintained, patrolled, and expensive. That being said, it is a beautiful spot. There are really no campgrounds in Jasper National Park that aren't beautiful spots.

Good sized sites. Tend pads are a good size and in good condition. Not all sites have good privacy from neighboring sites. Free firewood, although it is not under shelter and gets wet when it rains. Potable water is available. Bathrooms (pit toilets) are clean and well stocked. Sites fill up fast! No cell service at the campground, but plenty of birds and squirrels to keep you entertained. There are several paths down to the Snaring river which is a beautiful place to sit.

If you can find a spot, this campground offers amazing proximity to a beautiful Riverside. Don't be afraid of the Walk-In sites, they're more secluded than the others. Cleanest outhouses in Alberta. We snagged site D6 and I firmly believe it's the best one in the park!

Year after Year I find myself at Snaring enjoying the mountain breeze, sunrise and sunsets behind the mountain peaks, and the ice cold River "swim". Be it traveling through on my bike or car, or spending an entire week in the Jasper Area. Cannot get enough of this Campground. Quiet, respectful and clean. Sites are more than adequate for most campers with firepit and picnic tables at each one. Sites are spread out nicely and neatly surrounded by trees. It is a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE basis. They also offer over flow camping just across the bridge incase the regular spot is full.
