Got a second hand stove from SMS Appliance to replace a broken one in a rental unit. The stoves themselves were refurbished and cleaned. Good quality for the price, some have scratches on the, but that's normal for second had. We paid the additional $99 delivery and old appliance removal. The day before delivery, they called and coordinated with us. As I had to act as middle man between our tenant and their delivery drivers, there was a bit of back and forth, they were very accommodating and patient. Day of delivery they were on time, almost to the minute, and very responsive and friendly. Everything was delivered, installed and removed without a hitch. I'm very glad I went with SMS Appliance and would recommend to anyone looking.

Service was good and timely to deal with our oven. Price was within my expectations. I would give a 5 Star review, but the technician did not properly install the front panel to our wall oven. Attempted three times to contact to get advice on how to fix it myself, but no luck. I now have to find a way to fix it myself.

Spent 400$ on a dryer plus delivery which was reasonable as it came with a pedestal. I should have asked more questions because I found out 6 months later that they only warranty their refurbished appliances for 30 days. Well of course the dryer dies so here I am buying a new one. I wouldn't buy used appliances here... or anywhere for that matter.

Do not use this Company for your repairs! Here’s a cautionary tale for anyone thinking of using this company! Our fridge has been freezing the food and after the technician came to repair it he not only scratched our floors and damaged it permanently while moving the fridge in and out of its place. It’s going to have to be completely replaced on the main floor as a result. On top of all of that the fridge is actually not fixed! Still freezing food. When trying to communicate with the company to help us get the issue sorted they bullied my mother into paying the invoice because according to them the service was done! When she requested them to see the damage the customer service rep said he doesn’t have time as he has a life. Of course I’m upset that the service was not completed but what is outraged that the customer service rep decided not to take his customers seriously. He called my mother a liar and that the technician said that their was wheel under the fridge so damage is impossible. After proving with photos that this is indeed incorrect he tried to bully her into paying the invoice further. The truth is that this company just can’t acknowledge the mistakes made. If there was at least someone to hear us out we wouldn’t feel the need to write a review We’ve gone ahead after so much back and forth with this company and purchased a brand new fridge from Best Buy! My mother lives with the trauma of the staff bullying her. After all of this the customer service rep offered $50.00 off the roughly 200 dollar invoice but we are facing thousands of dollars of damages. I advise anyone who is looking to use this company to think twice about using their services as you may end up like us!

I bought a dryer from them and I'm happy they stand by their products. We had an issue with our dryer (past the warranty time period) and Pat, the service technician, is so kind, helpful and efficient. The cost for repair was so reasonable! Highly recommend SMS for their customer service! They care.

I've been searching for a replacement utensil basket for my dishwasher for months now. After one phonecall and some details and then some waiting I was so pleased to have exactly what I needed for a reasonable price. Great service, level headed customer service and easy to talk to, I will be calling them again if I need anything appliances.

DO NOT purchase appliances from SMS appliance. I purchased a washer/dryer set from them and when I tested the washing machine it did not work. They say they have a 30 day warranty policy, however their service is extremely low quality. They sent a technician to have a look at the appliances who was not able to fix it (said there were multiple things wrong with it) and SMS has not done anything since. They say they look over the appliances prior to selling them, this one was not looked over or β€œrefurbished”, it was sold with several issues. We asked for a refund and we’re willing to deliver the appliances back to the store simply to get our money back, but they said they don’t do returns. We spoke to the general manager from Calgary and they were absolutely no help. We have not been able to do our laundry for 10 days and are extremely disappointed. Terrible service. Response to comment below: The Calgary location was WELL AWARE of the issue. I spoke directly to the General Manager from Calgary over the phone who was absolutely no help. Terrible service from the general manager of a company that is supposed to be reputable.
