About Smiles on Southglen Dental Centre
Received his Doctor of Medical Dentistry from the University of Manitoba and currently divides his time between private practice and teaching students at the Faculty of Dentistry. Teaching since 2002, Dr. Lau has instructed students in a variety of Clinical and Preclinical courses including Pediatric Dentistry, Operative Dentistry, Crown and Bridge, and General Practice.
His practice focuses on Cosmetic Dentistry and has centered his continuing education on expanding his knowledge in multi-disciplinary treatment to better provide for all of his patients needs.
With training in Nitrous Oxide and Conscious Sedation, Dr. Lau is experienced in treating children and helping sensitive patients cope with the anxiety of dental treatment.
During the past fifteen years, Dr. Lau has spent much of his spare time volunteering with Kindness in Action, a non-profit organization that provides dental services in third world countries such as Nicaragua, Guatemala, Venezuela, Tibet, Belize and Peru.

โ โ โ โ โ I have been going to Smiles on Southglen for a few years now, and while I'm not a fan of the dentist in general, the Smiles team makes the experience much better for me. The reception staff is very friendly and great with handling my insurance. I also love the hygiene crew, since they're all so nice to chat with.

The staff was so good with him explaining everything that would happen step by step and easing his fears and calming him through the whole procedure. โ โ โ โ โ I met three receptionists while I was there and they were all very inviting and helpful. Also, very courteous. Then I was introduced to Kim (hygienist) and Dr. M. Murray ( Dentist) who were both incredibly professional and friendly. Both Kim and Dr. Murray were extremely knowledgeable and Dr Murray made it very clear as to what my options were. I will certainly be recommending Dr. Morgan Murray if I may be allowed to. Experience was absolutely professional at the Southglen Dental Centre.
