About Smart Kids Learning and Child Care
Smart Kids Learning and Child Care (SKLC) or Smart Kids Day Care is a newly licensed day care program and has a capacity of 48 children and adheres to the Regulations under the Child Care Licensing Act of the Province of Alberta for a daycare program for children from 12 months to six years of age.

SKLC’s mission is to provide a safe and caring place for daycare and to foster growth and learning in delivering our values through programs in service to children, families and the community.

Our service and program is available to everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality, sex, religion, cultural background, economic status and any physical or mental disability. We believed that parents have the right to pursue work or education with peace of mind, and children have the right to a secure, safe and developmentally appropriate program.
Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is to provide a safe, positive and nurturing environment to help children develop mentally, socially, physically and emotionally through the combination of creative, participatory, multicultural, structured and free play approach. We ensure the child`s aptitude to lifelong learning by providing a wide variety of activities that encourage creativity, intellectual curiosity, social interactions, self-help skills, physical activity, and emotional development. We are working hand in hand with parents and families to promote strength, health and total well-being for all children.

TWO YEARS LATER.....
I am so grateful to the staff. I now have a third child going here. Absolutely the best decision as a parent I have ever made!
I see some reviews listed on here that from my experience are not true. I visit the daycare throughout the day and have seen every classroom, child and teacher many days in a week. The level of cleanliness, meal prep, crafts and activities, and most of all their diverse experence is what has made my girls succeed in their daily lives. The structure is excellent.
I have had nothing but Great feedback from my family and friends that have also been involved with my children and the staff.
My mind is always at ease knowing my girls are in the best hands.
My heart is so big for these hard working ladies.

I absolutely and truly feel blessed?
The care and support my girls have recieved from the staff and families is amazing. The programs are fun, creative and have helped us learn together at home too. Science experiments have taken over my kitchen as well as the craft and writings they bring home.
Hearing about their day is a highlight of mine!

Along with that, Liza is very patient with parents as well, when I first enrolled my kids I had a million questions to ask and she had professionally addressed them all.

It’s wonderful seeing our son get excited about going to daycare every morning. The teachers really make an effort to engage the kids and develop them in a very individualised way. The management is really committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment. we’re very thankful with liza for all the help and effort in helping us sort out all the paperwork needed and for going above and beyond for us, and I'm also thankful with the whole team at Smart kids for taken such good care of our son. Super recommended!.

It has been the best for her, she is learning a lot and she loves going. The Staff are all wonderful and they are so good to the children and very understanding. The staff are very professional and very loving with the children and they add special touches to all the Special Holidays. The staff has so much knowledge and experience with children and it is so beneficial to get their advise. We love being your Client!

My child is in this amazing daycare since he was 15 months. The transition was easy after my maternity leave. Everyday he is happy to come to the daycare and I could tell he is learning a lot not only to be social with others. The Director Lisa is super great always working above and beyond, All the teachers was friendly and always greeting you with lovely smiles. Shout out to teacher Ellen & Bushra they are amazing teachers of my child. I am a very happy working Mom knowing that my child is in the best place in times of my absence. I salute them for taking care & teaching our children!!! :)
