Alon from Smartcare was onsite at noon the next day and had the spring replaced and other related maintenance done within about an hour. It's now working much better than before and Alon was great to deal with. The price was very reasonable and we're very glad to have this fixed so quickly!

We woke up to find our garage door sitting on an angle, one of the cables snapped from 10 years of rust. It's a double garage door, so I didn't have much hope of getting the car out, but alas, it still "worked". I checked on our Town home complex's Facebook page, and there was a reco for Smart Care. I called and made an appointment for the following morning, 7am, which is when we needed Alon to come, as we had plans for the day. I'm sure he would have come the day I called, but we were going to be out of town then as well. Alon arrived promptly at 7, assessed the situation, and quoted the more-than-reasonable price, and completed the work in under an hour. He replaced both cables. After, we discussed the springs, as I asked what would break next. He suggested replacing them as they were showing the typical signs of wear (see pics), and would break within a year or two. He stayed and completed that work as well. I can tell you, the door never sounded so quiet. It's actually performing better than new. Alon explained that when the house was built, they didn't use the proper spring for the double garage door units. Now we have the right springs, and it's working better than ever. Alon is professional, doesn't do work you don't want, is Not a pressure sales person. I'm sad and glad I won't be seeing Alon for a long long time, at least not at my place. I'll be more than happy to see him around the complex. No need to do further research on your garage door repair. Just call Alon. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
